My husband and I had a wonderful impromptu Valentine’s Day lunch at Seven Seas today! They were fairly busy, but quickly cleared a booth for us as soon as others left. We ordered a coconut margarita(yum!), a Breakwater IPA, mug of clam chowder(big enough for 2 as an appetizer), grilled mahi mahi tacos, and classic fish & chips. Everything was so delicious, we cleaned our plates! The service was friendly and fast. This was our second time coming here for lunch and we will definitely be back again!

The best clam chowder I have ever had. And I am a big clam chowder guy so that is saying something. The tacos were 6 bucks on taco Tuesday and were solid too. Cool atmosphere fast service. For the clam chowder alone you’ve gotta try it

We have been here several times already! It is turning out to be one of our favorite places to eat in Vista. If you like fresh tasty seafood you will love Seven Seas. We got there early on a week night and did not have trouble getting a table. There was a line waiting later in the evening. This is a new restaurant and it is done up very nicely. There is a large outdoor patio area, indoor seating and nice bar seating. The staff is very friendly and will take good care of you. We have had several of the dishes and they were all great. The price for what you get and the quality of the food is excellent. Oh, did I forget to mention that the drinks are very well done and nice and strong. What is not to like.

This was our first time at Seven Seas. Vista needed a good seafood restaurant and this place has a great atmosphere. There were 4 of us and we sat on the patio. Love the open concept with large open windows, feels tropical. The food was delicious. We started with the clam chowder. Not too heavy, lots of clams and full of flavor. For mains we tried the mahi fish and chips, with large pieces of white fish, light, crispy breading and a homemade chunky coleslaw not too sweet or tart. Fresh made fries were excellent. Would order this again. The sand dabs were tasty, I squeezed extra lemon on them. The catch of the day was a swordfish sandwich. Also very good. We shared a butterscotch pudding for dessert, and the salted caramel topping was my favorite part. Can’t wait to go back and try other items! Highly recommend. This place was full by 6 pm on a Thursday.

We tend to only review outdoor recreation experiences but after our visit today, I want to give our recommendation. We stopped by for a quick drink and apps and ended up staying for dinner and taking our time to joying this place. The bartenders were very engaging and friendly, the cold seafood was fresh and high quality (shrimp, east and west coast oysters) and both of our entrees were delicious. I had the scallops and my wife had the salmon. The atmosphere is modern, casual and clean. I’d feel fine heading here for a drink and sitting at the bar to watch the game with friends, or for a nice dinner out on date night. We’ll be back.

We went into Seven Seas for lunch with over twenty people and they immediately accommodated our entire group on the outdoor patio. The food came out quickly and everything was extremely fresh! We ordered a variety of items from the menu, some of favorites being the clams, octopus, poke, and the crab and lobster carbonara. The waitresses were extremely attentive, very friendly and the atmosphere on the inside and outside of the restaurant was great! Would definitely recommend for a casual lunch or for date night!

Seven Seas Bar and Grill in Vista has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The staff is attentive and they work well together. Stephen and Coral took great care of us. The Mahi-Mahi Fish and Chips are not overly breaded and the beer batter has a clean taste. The fish tacos have a nice mixture of fresh ingredients. The butterscotch pudding is excellent. My husband loved the beer options, particularly the Sevens Seas craft beers. We had such a good time and will definitely go back.

Insanely good fish bar. Poke and seafood plate are 10/10 recommend. Reasonably priced for how much you get. Our table loved the east coast oysters > west coast.
Parking can be tough depending when you go. There’s a parking lot directly across that usually has spaces available, just loop around the block to the entrance. Or try your luck with street parking.
The fish and chips and the sand dab were a hit. But their fries were *chefs kiss* winner. We also shared a reasonably priced bottle of wine.
Overall good vibes and good food.
