OH MY GOODNESS, so glad we found this place while visiting! The food was absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to go back! The absolute best sandwiches! We had the Brendito and the Pimento BLT! Delicious! The pickles, on the side, were also amazing. Can’t wait to visit again when we return to Wilmington!

Stopped by Cheesesmith and tried the Figgy Smalls grilled cheese along with the parmesan fries. The Figgy Smalls was absolutely delicious. The combo of creamy goat cheese, sweet fig jam, caramelized onions, and fresh arugula was perfectly balanced. It had that sweet-and-savory mix that just works. The parmesan fries were okay, but honestly, the grilled cheese is the real star here. You come to Cheesesmith for the sandwiches, and they definitely deliver

Great food. Very friendly staff. Clean & tidy. We ordered an assortment of grilled cheese sandwiches & parmesan fries. Thick bread toasted crisp. Good amount of cheese, but not too much. I had bacon on mine which was perfectly cooked. The fries were crispy and tasty. Not greasy.
Overall, it was a delicious meal with a wide assortment of canned & bottled beverages served very cold & refreshing. Kudos to the staff and the chef.

We went during October, so I got a special called the Pumpkin Queen and it did not disappoint! Boyfriend got the Mac Mamma and we shared an order of Smith Fries, it was all a hit.

What a great find! We visited this place while traveling through Wilmington just on a whim and it was amazing. It’s located at the far opposite end of the row of shops from Food Lion.
The service was fantastic. Quick and very friendly. But the food was amazing! Definitely some of the best grilled sandwiches we’ve ever had. And the Parmesan fries were outstanding!
The sandwich portions are very generous and kind of on the heavy side. So I would recommend splitting a sandwich with another person and then splitting an order of fries.
Out of the 3 sandwiches we had (Southern Charm, Mac Momma, & BLT), the Southern Charm was our favorite but all were amazing in their own right.

We had lunch on a Monday holiday, and the place was packed. They told you how long it would take to get your meal. People were waiting and having a good time in the atmosphere. The menu has some many options, we ordered 4 sandwiches and two appetizers for 3 people. Take a break and have a fun lunch.

This is the second location for Cheesesmith, a locally owned Mom and Pop company in town. I love it! Figgie Smalls and bacon or the Spicy Boi cheesesteak are my go-tos. Add Asian fries, you won’t regret it, and duh, get a local beer on draft! I take my dogs here on warm days. So good, great staff, and always sooo clean!

The prices were a bit wild but the cheesesteak was really good! The fries were good & so were the pickles. The beer cheese was good. The ranch was odd, really herby and not edible to me. If the prices were better, it’d be a 5.

Recently discovered that this location has cheese steaks all the time, unlike the other location that only has them like once a month. I finally was able to try one. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had (I’ve traveled the country trying cheese steaks) but it was definitely the best I’ve had in Wilmington! It wasn’t fancy, no lettuce or anything else on it. I added mayo. Just meat, cheese and cooked onions but it was great. Will definitely get it again.
