Tried this place for the first time and cannot wait to come back! Got a maple latte which was perfectly sweet, not too sweet. Also got a kouign amman and it was one of the best I’ve had. They have specialty food products that are hard to find elsewhere. Gorgeous space overall, and I can’t wait to try more from their menu!

I absolutely love visiting this spot. Their dishes often feel like a work of art (edible borage flowers on the eggs benedict.. dried rose petals and a vibrant spice mix sprinkled atop the Turkish eggs..), and you can tell how much love and dedication to the craft goes into the food. I also love the atmosphere and the fun selection of beautiful home & pantry goods. It feels like being pleasantly transported to a small European cafe, with the long communal seating areas and people chatting, enjoying each other’s company and a great meal. Pastries are also incredible. Grateful to have this little gem here in Vermont!

Selection of delicious baked goods, hot plates, coffees plus a large selection of chocolates and culinary gifts. Tables available inside and outside. Nice space to work too (note no laptops during weekend brunch hours: 10am-2pm).

A small but cozy little coffee shop where you can grab a seat and enjoy a good locally sourced breakfast, and their homemade pita. Everything was incredible! <3
We had the Turkish eggs, the Lemon yogurt cake and a Almond croissant. We both had a Cortado coffee to go with.

This place is definitely a treat. A great aesthetic on the main street in Vergennes and a recommended stop. I had the breakfast panini and purchased some of the granola. Both were delicious but also on the pricier side. The staff was friendly and the items for sale felt carefully curated. The only fault was my sandwich to go was not cut in half and was hard to eat/messy as one unit. Also I had some bites that were too salty for me. Next time I will definitely be back to try some pastries or the yogurt bowl.

This was the star of our trip. We drove from Cape Cod specifically to experience VL. What a gem. Tucked away on a cutie pie street in an equally cutie pie town. The setting is bucolic and VL is the bomb. Inside, the bakers are creating amazing sweet and savory treats. I honestly cannot remember what our treats were called but they were divine. My partner had Turkish eggs and this fluffy bread. Don’t ask, just GO. Mad love for VL.

Usually good service here and food. But today I asked for a towel to wipe a table and got a nice eye roll and a non verbal clean up of the table that I was asking for a towel to do myself. Then our food took 35 m to come out and it was just a panini. It was packed so I’m sure that’s why as this isn’t the norm here. Please work on your custom service. I miss your original barista She knows how to do it right.

Vergennes Laundry is a gem. I feel so fortunate to live near this place, it’s where I bring all my out of state friends for a tasty treat, a delicious latte, or my fav granola and yogurt bowl. Everything I’ve had from here has been amazing. Simply delicious!! The interior of the space is also really calming and visually delightful. Lots of cool pantry items to buy, cool cookbooks and interior design books and other kitchenware. It has all of my favorite things combined in one place
