It’s been years since I’ve had a really good Filipino food. I was introduced to Filipino cuisine when my uncle married into our family. I must’ve been five years old. I picked up a few dinners here the other day took him back home. Food is amazing. Service is great. Very sweet people who work there definitely be going back. Check them out on the weekends and they have buffets. All you can eat. 22 minutes away from New Braunfels go there to get your Filipino cuisine fix.

In a pinch, I always find what I need to cook a traditional Chamorro Meal. Thank you for stocking the items that are not available in the tradtional Grocery store. Spanish Chorizo Sausage and Lemon Powder in the can, can be found here.

I usually go to the market to buy the pork siomai located at the very back of the store, you let them know how many you would like and they will give you a take away box to serve yourself. They have pork, chicken and meatball siomai (big white buns)
The restaurant is located to the right. I was delighted to find that they had a buffet and may have overstuffed myself. Lumpias, pancit, green beans, roasted pork belly, fried little fish (sorry I have no idea the names) and much more.
It is very humble setting.

I go to this place often. The food is great, especially for the price. While the store isn’t that big with grocery selection (which isn’t the store’s fault since it has such limited spacing), it makes up for it in a great variety of food you’re able to order. Just keep in mind to be clear if you change your mind and want to replace your order, even if they haven’t started cooking your initial order yet. I accidentally ordered two things when I was trying to change my order, and it was due to a miscommunication. The staff was very nice about it though. Make sure to check the prices even if you’ve ordered there before and think you know the prices. I believe they have risen them a bit on certain items. I’m not 100% sure if I remember it correctly, but I’ll check again next time I go there. The food is undoubtedly amazing and smells great. It’s definitely a go to for Filipino food for me.

The chicken adobo is amazing, and cheap, too! I loved going anytime Tuesday through Thursday for the buffet. I usually just ordered it to go, and got a little extra sauce on the rice. The soup was a good addition on cold days. The pork buns on the left side of the store to the back are also very good. Definitely a great lunch spot.

Siopao (steamed bun) was great. Good amount of filling for the size and price. It had actual meat chunks that I can bite, unlike frozen grocery store siopaos. The bun itself was very spongey and soft, which is a good thing.
Serving size from the restaurant wasn’t large. You do get free soup if you order a combo and eat in. Their food was good, will go again when in the area.
The store has a decent selection of spices and seasonings for Filipino dishes. I didn’t see any expired or near expiring products. Their freezer section is a hassle if you don’t know what item you’re buying.
Parking is no issue. It’s located in a shopping center with a large parking lot.

Grew up in California, had lots of Filipino friends, but never have I seen an actual Filipino restaurant (Jollibee didn’t have Filipino food I find at my friends’!)
So I ran into this place and said “OH! Why not?!” And I’m glad I did!! Food was great! Probably more rice than I would need – 2 round balls of time per entree (people think Chinese people eat a lot of rice… Oh boy they’re wrong!)
I gave 5 stars for the yummy food but don’t expect great service or speedy service. I was a tad confused as to sit down first or order first but saw a sign that said order here so I stood around and waited a little. They did bring the food to the table but everything appears to be cooked one table at a time. At one point I thought there was only two workers but I think there are more.
Going to go back to try the house fried chicken! Smells do good…

Buffet looked old like the food has been left out all day. No signs or descriptions of any dish so you really have to already know this cuisine to understand what you are eating. Not very tasty, not friendly, not welcoming, dirty feeling little place. Will not go back.

The best of authentic Filipino cuisine! At only $8.99, the lunch buffet is a great value. The newer restaurant addition is very clean, nicely decorated, and the A/C is very comfortable. The market is well stocked, especially with native vegetables, fish, and snacks.

I’ve always love their food; they cook them fresh & their food remind me of home cooked meals back home. Also, I absolutely love their Spanish bread; it has pretty good amount of palaman (bread spread) and sooo good to eat it along w/ coffee!
