Consistency make customers to return.
Seafood King is one of that few. Have been visiting Seafood King for little over a year and very time the Gumbo taste, texture, and portion is the same. Simply delicious!
My other pick is Gator in a basket or Po’Boy can’t go wrong. The seafood freshness can be oversized true very bite of a Boiled Seafood platter.
The place is supper clean with 6 boots, 4 small, and 2 long tables. Catering service is also offered plus I saw beer bucket been ordered beside the Un/sweet tea with a lemon slice as it should be!
Accessible from I-55 and attended by nice and pleasant persons what make the dine in experience a homestyle one.

Very sweet staff , food smells great … they made sure I was taken care of. I’m eating when i get home …. I will change the 5 Star rating if it’s not worthy of 5 stars but i have a GOOD FEELING it’s worth the 5 stars…
Got home , ate my super and it was so good …. it wasn’t so spicy that I couldn’t eat it ,but it was spicy … the perfect amount …. everything was cooked great… but the crab legs , sausage, and corn were the best … ill be so glad when we come back down there , I’m going to get crab legs and try the gumbo next ! I highly recommend this place 🙂

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with a seafood servicing restaurant… nobody wants dry unseasoned food. They charged 27 for the snow crab boil and it wasn’t worth it at all. I’ll never eat there again, if this is what black owned businesses are like I’d pass up on it all the time!!! Nastiest food ever!!!!!

The food was good it might look unseasoned but it is very seasoned and delicious! We ordered fish, snow crab, and peach and apple pie. Customer service is very great and they get your food out quickly! They gave us plenty of butter, etc. We tipped well and they gave us a whole bottle of hot sauce! 10/10 recommend and would go back again.

I had the large fried shrimp for lunch. Seafood is very fresh and seasoning is really good. Service was fast, I ordered and ate in house in short order. Prices are reasonable for how good the food was. I plan on coming back to try a boil.

grabbed the boiled shrimp dinner for lunch today. This place may have the freshest seafood I have had or at least it tastes that way and I’ve had seafood dockside on most of the coasts in the US. The rating on this place is bogus, It should rank 4.8* minimum, personally I think it needs a 5* because it def stands out. Considering stopping in but aren’t sure? Do it!

The lady that took our order was precious first and foremost, but the food was basic at best. We got crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage, gumbo, and fish. The shrimp, crab, potatoes, and corn were good, but overcooked. The fish was a little slimy and greasy. The gumbo taste more like rice and gravy than gumbo and it had no shrimp or any other visible seafood in it. The restaurant had something spilled all over the walls and we had to brush off the booths before we could sit down. Overall 5 stars for the nice server and 1 star for the food, price, and cleanliness.

Just don’t do it.. go spend your money elsewhere this place for 1. Looks unsanitary, the longer I looked around the dirtier it looked. 2. It has NO SEASONING I mean they just boil the seafood and bring it to you with a side of butter.. 3. The gumbo I ordered taste like canned soup and the sausage is rubbery. 4. I was sided eyed and talked to with an attitude the whole time I was there.. Just go to McDonald’s honestly it’s better..

Awesome food! Great prices and the seafood bisque is too good…beyond belief! Every spoonful was loaded with all types of seafood. They also serve ‘Gator! I’d go every weekend if I had it my way! Just be sure to check your order is all there before you leave with take-out or sit and eat some oysters and have a few beers. The people watching is fun. My favorite thing is ordering a pound of shrimp. It’s actually a whole pound. And is even better than what I make a home !!!!!!
