Moved in to town and decided to check this Mexican place out. The staff members were very nice! Seat where you want! When you are seated they give you free chips and salsa and their salsa is great! Just enough spice to make you crave more! We ordered the taco Deluxe and the combo meal (Cheese Enchilada, Chile Rellano, & the Chicken Burrito). Everything tasted fresh and the flavors were fantastic!
Definitely will be our new place for date night!

Really good food and service. Salsa for the chips had a nice spice. Not everything on the menu was available. Wife had to order third choice but it was still good. Common problem in small towns these days.

I’m going to start with omfg. I feel this review holds some valid weight when I say the food is AMAZING. I eat mor Mexican food than anything else and being from Texas and spending significant amounts of time in Mexico and Deep South Texas. I have a strong belief that the best Mexican food out side of Mexico is in Texas. So when I tell you this tanpequina that I ordered is my go to meal anywhere I go or carne asada. I generally do not eat Mexican food out side of Texas because it’s generally not that good well tonight due to time left to drive I stopped in this little town only thing open was this Mexican food joint was considering just going to keep hungry but decided a bowl of chips and salsa wouldn’t hurt I stopped in. I seen my favorite mean on the menu and decided to order it. I will say this I have probably consumed that particular meat at easily 200 or more places since I was a child. This one here was by far the best the rice was perfect the meat had amazing flavor the pick was a little too salty for my tast but still pretty good I ate it all and the tortillas were fresh and right. This will be a have to stop for me if I ever drive through this town again. I highly enjoyed it. Service 5⭐️ parking 5⭐️ cleanliness 5⭐️ environment 5⭐️

Always just a bit disappointed every time we go there. Something always bothers us. This time was the salsa. Garbage. The chicken quesadilla was on point. Just needs a little more sour cream and guacamole.

Although its name may deceive you, Tacos El Tapatio #3 is #1 in our hearts. The food was 5 stars. El Tapatio replenished every calorie that Mt. Humboldt took from us. The service was 5 stars. Our server knew what weary hikers need: extra chips and salsa. The atmosphere was 5 stars. The Mexican decor paired well with our Fajitas Mix for 2, making our dining experience both tasty and tasteful. #1 in food, #1 in service, #1 in atmosphere, which makes Tacos El Tapatio…you guessed it…#3.

We were out for a nice drive today in our new car enjoying the beautiful fall colors and stopped in for lunch. The new owner was extremely friendly and very accommodating of my weird eating tastes. The food was delicious, better than almost any Mexican restaurant we go to regularly. We will definitely be back!!!

Six family members for dinner, two are vegan. Vegan selection was good. Street tacos and other dishes ordered were fantastic as were the chips, salsa and the drinks. The wait staff was slim so have patience. Excellent authentic Mexican food .

Great service. Servings are large and food is delicious!! Would have taken pictures but we were so hungry we dug in. For 6 of us we paid $103. We brought leftovers with us. We live in Pueblo but we will definitely go back on our weekend road trips.

The food was decent, but the service was lackluster. The staff was clearly trying their best, but they didn’t seem properly trained or experienced. In my opinion, management is failing the customers and the staff.
To illustrate my point:
1. My meal was delivered to the wrong table and it had been cut into by the time it got to me. But the server assured me it had not been eaten yet; just cut into.
2. The Screwdrivers ordered were disappointing. The server shared he/she had to look up a Screwdriver recipe online.

6 of us went for dinner. We all had different meals, some mexican, some burgers. Hard and soft drinks and desert. Chow was great and more than expected. Prices were reasonable. Mixed drinks, beer and lemonade was great. Bar tender did great job. Waitress seemed to be new but we all enjoyed the atmosphere and each other’s company. Compliments to the cook as well. Definitely going back. Thanks. Rk
