My partner and I keep coming back here on weekends… our count is around four times this month alone. The food is fresh, good, and proportionate, and they have a large selection of choices. The place is always clean, and the vibes really set the tone for our meals. The staff, as always, are very friendly and accommodating. Hot N Roll is 100% one of, if not the best, hot pot places in the DMV.

Spacious interior. Very clean and inviting. I liked that most of the add-ins were self serve. I got the medium spicy base and it was as advertised spice level. The burners were easy to operate. The tables were large and accommodating. The staff were attentive and friendly. We had a great chill time here. Very laid back. The food was fresh and delicious. Standard price. Overall great time.

We had a big family dinner here last friday, it was very nice we had a lovely time. Portions that they serve you with are huge. Whenever you order in their ipad menu thingy it was always a big order that they give. I wish there was a way to let them know just a little bit.
But we were in a big table and we were able to finish it without any issues.
The soup base is good but for me it needs a little bit more but the sauces makes up for it. If you know how to mix the sauces you are good to go.
The owner was very accommodating, and gave us everything we needed. They greet all the customers nicely.

With not so many reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect. For seafood lovers, this is a must go to. There were so many options and so many new things to try! The combination of buffet and also specialty items to order at no cost is super interesting! Not only was my waitress very very kind but she was super helpful too! Surprisingly, I loved the vegetables the most. I have not gone to a hot pit before with such fresh vegetables. What a pleasant surprise! Their herseys icecream is great too! I have no complaints from this experience and I totally would come back. As a lunch price of $24.99 you can’t beat this!

One thing that really caught my eye about this place is that you get individual hot pots, which is a huge plus for me since my husband and I have different preferences on our soup base!
The majority of the foods are self-serve at the buffet line, but the noodles, meat and some tofu items are ordered on the tablet. Drinks are not included in the hot pot price except for water. There is also a fridge full of ice cream that’s included in your meal!
The attendants were very attentive with us and kept our soda refills coming before we could even ask! They even go around refilling your pot with soup!
The store is very well lit, but the chairs and tables are almost comically large! I had to sit on the edge of my booth seat, otherwise it would have been impossible to eat!
There is a parking lot here, but it fills up pretty quickly due to many other restaurants that share the lot. Parking wasn’t horrible, but we did park a bit far.

Loved this location! I love that you can self serve the toppings, all you can eat! How awesome is that. If you have never been to a place like this, you choose your broth/soup and your meats and veggies and a plethora of other toppings and noodles and cook them in front of you in the soup. The servers here checked up on you, refilled water with out prompting and was kind and helpful. Those location allows you to order the broth and meats and you help yourself at the self serve bar with seafood, veggies, etc. They have a greattttt selection. The price is also very reasonable! I’ll definitely be back.

So many hot pot places in Ellicott city and Columbia area. We haven’t been to Hot n Roll for a few years ever since we noticed a decline during the Pandemic so we decided to give it a try again.
We were satisfied with their service and taste of the hot pot. The meat and vegetables bar was a little low in quantity which I didn’t quite understand but nonetheless, there was enough food to get whenever we went up to get more.
One note to take, their sauce bar was messy because customers like to get sauces all over the spoons. This is not the restaurants fault tho.
I would not mind coming back but I don’t have my other favorite hot pot places in the area.

I love this place. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean, the service is fast, the employees are friendly. They give you so much meat. I feel so bad I can never finish what they give me.
