Family owned, high quality, authentic Italian cuisine. La Campagna is the best. They have their staple menu items like eggplant parmigiana, my wife’s favorite, they also have unique entrees like beef tenderloin, pork ribeye, or Veal with truffle cream sauce and truffle pasta, which I had today along with local fresh fried zucchini blossoms with parmigiana and marinara. No processed foods here. All this and their fine wine selection make this a special place.

La Campagna is a hidden gem in plain sight. My husband took me here for a date night which did not disappoint! Decor is quaint with touches of the traditional Italian theme throughout. The menu changes weekly, which we prefer. Our appetizer of burrata with a pistachio cream sauce was divine. Our entrees were on point with fresh pasta and homemade marinara. They also have an excellent selection of wine. If you’re looking for somewhere new to visit, that is locally owned and has been in business for years, this is a must try! HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem!

La Campagna has become our favorite restaurant in Waltham. Every time we are in town it is our go to restaurant. My son and I were just there and we had the best meal ever. I had the steak and my son had the rack of lamb. We had the Beef Carpaccio and the Prosciutto di Parma, OUTSTANDING!

This place is a little hidden gem in Westlake. Literal mom & pop joint with a daily rotating menu and a decent wine selection. Everything is made from scratch, and with a few exceptions (e.g. cake) is made right when you order it. They were even kind enough to bubble wrap the bottle of wine I purchased for my flight home!
I highly recommend taking a bit of time to come give them a try. Stores like this are a dying breed, and I want to be able to come back here again on my next trip to the area.

We had dinner here for the second time on January 31, 2025. On both occasions the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. The waitress does such a great job being genuinely friendly and has a gift for showing up right when you need her. The food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I had eggplant parm and even my husband who hates eggplant liked it. The spumoni bomb for dessert is a must — it’s amazing. If you are looking for a great meal experience La Campagna is your place.

I am not a regular like some of the other reviewers, but have been here multiple times and always come back for special occasions. The food is superb and the service provides a dining experience distinctly different from our current culture.
Definitely don’t come looking for a quick bite of pasta. But if you want to relax, slow down, and enjoy a delicious meal with an atmosphere that is somehow both familial and classy, this is the place.
Be sure to make a reservation and allot enough time for a slow meal and you won’t be disappointed!

A tiny slice of a restaurant in a nondescript strip mall. Food was delicious. The carbonara was smoky and deep without being heavy. The tortellini with walnut cream sauce had me at the first bite. A visit will not disappoint. Call first to reserve. Service was excellent, warm, knowledgeable and definitely knew the menu.

First time visit. We visited to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. Relaxed atmosphere. Not pretentious. Mike and Ed took the time to educate us in detailing the day’s menu and their timing of service was spot on. The food was delicious. Plate licking good. Wine selection perfect. Capped the fine meal with an Affogato, not on the menu, but made because we asked. Will definitely be back before the 43 year mark.
