Elegant restaurant for Puebla & Spanish cuisine in an old Jesuit college, with an attached museum.

Restaurant is located in a renovated old building with a museum in the second floor. They place is gorgeous and gets great sunlight from the open roof over the dining area.
We ordered the aged ham and cheese platters (need to come above again to eat more), oxtail croquette, fig & arugula, chicken adobo, and a pasta dish. Each item tested different and not like some restaurants where everything tastes similar.
They serve homemade bread rolls, olive oil, and two types of sauce while you wait for your meal.
There were local people dining all around us. So it’s a place both enjoyed by tourists and local. Highly recommend.
The restaurant is set in a beautiful historic courtyard, and when we were there, someone was playing the piano, which created a very calm and elegant atmosphere.
Service was good, and the menu offers a nice mix of Western dishes and traditional Mexican food, so it’s a great option if you’re traveling with different tastes. The setting itself is worth the visit — relaxing, charming, and very Puebla-style.
Highly recommended for a pleasant lunch in the historic center.
I had the Pipián Verde with pork, and it was one of the best I’ve had in Puebla. Our waiter was attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. It ended up being a really nice dinner with friends.
Yocel was outstanding! She took such great care of us and made the whole experience even better with her kindness and attention to detail. The service was top-notch, and we felt genuinely cared for.
If you’re looking for a fantastic place for breakfast with great food and even better service, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!
