First time visiting and I had an amazing experience! The set up is amazing there’s like 3 different sections and there were live music and the lights came on in the evening it was beautiful! I ordered fries and calamari for a snack and man they were crispy calamari just the way I like em, sooo delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a chill night to relax enjoy the breeze music vibes. Customer service was great too! Keep it up! Thank god they had a parking lot fits about 20 cars I think. It was a bit windy and my husband couldn’t get a nice video with his drone we literally got a 7 second video and put it in slow motion. (My last evening before I give birth)

I just need to tell everyone that Baja Boathouse is under new ownership and you should give it another try. New Owners, who just bought the place will be making improvements to the existing venue. Don’t rule this place out! You watch what she does with this place. We just had our 17th Annual William Floyd HS Multi Year Casual Reunion there…. Hundreds of people showed up and not one complaint. The food was good. The music was great and the drinks were cold! Everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves all day long. We will definitely be back next year

I have to say it’s definitely much different than what it was with the previous owners. Jessica was our server, she was very conscientious and on point. The menu had a good selection and the prices were very fair. The food was absolutely delicious and they were also plated very well. It’s definitely different then what it was previously so I recommend to try it out and see for yourself.

This is a great place to add to your summer plans! The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly. There’s a dj playing music. The food is great, drinks are strong, the view is pretty, and staff is super friendly, as well.

Went to eat there last week with my family. Although it was after the main season and our dinner seating was quiet, The server and staff were very attentive to our needs. The food and drinks were greatly discounted due to the late time of season and we really appreciated that.

Four of us went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Two of us ordered the steak sandwich and two ordered the chicken sandwich. The waitress, who was excellent, asked us how we wanted our steak. We both requested medium rare. When the steak sandwich came there were three strips of steak which were well done and extremely fatty. I asked the waitress if she put in our steak order medium rare. She replied that the cook told her steak could only be served well done, she didn’t realize that. I told her that would have been an important piece of information. (especially since there were only 6 or 7 lunch entree choices to pick from) So for $22 the sandwich was tough, chewy and lacked taste. The chicken sandwiches were small, the bread was stale and the piece of tomato and lettuce was so small that it didn’t even cover the small piece of chicken. So, four meals, all unsatisfying and unenjoyable. I would NOT recommend this place for their food and since the prices are high you can certainly get a better value for buck elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing definitely recommend !!!!! I went here for date night with my girlfriend and we were extremely happy!!! We ordered drinks, apps, and entrees. The waitress was super nice and attentive she made sure we had everything that we needed. Compliments to the chef he even came out to make sure everything was up to par. After the meal we stuck around to hang out by the water and ordered a few more drinks. Live music and DJs were a major plus!

Unfortunately we had the most horrible food and service here and will never be back. I’d also give it 0 stars if I could. I’ve never been compelled to write a bad review on a restaurant as every place has its ups and downs. We were looking forward to seeing one of our favorite bands perform ( In the Groove which were amazing as always) this past Friday. We had eaten here once last year and knew what to expect-typical waterfront bar food and decent drinks. The hostess Sidney was the only saving grace for us. She warmly greeted us and found a table for 2 on the covered deck area. We sat for about 20 minutes with menus ( much more limited menu than last year) and then I finally asked my boyfriend to get us some drinks at the bar. I continued to wait at the table while he waited at the bar which was like a scene from Bar Rescue- staff yelling at each other, serving patrons over others waiting longer etc. He decided not to get the mix drink for fear of a poorly made one (which I see from other reviews happens often, not surprised). After about 45 minutes we went to the hostess, she took our order and assisted us the rest of the night. Never did a server come to us. One of the owners was walking around all night oblivious to how poorly run his restaurant is doing nothing but socializing with friends. The food took well over an hour and it was barely edible. It seems this has been a problem all season from other reviews even when not busy. We saw servers running around with no assistance from management surrounded by other customers also unhappy and complaining. If it weren’t for the band we would have left immediately. We ordered 2 more drinks from the outdoor bar which was a better experience. I’d recommend eating elsewhere before listening to live music.
