During my visit to Alley 51, I wanted to stop by this place for the kimbap. they have an extensive menu with lots of different options. I ended up getting the tuna mayo kimbap. It had tuna, cucumber, lettuce, rice, and nori. Compared to others that I have had it was good. The portion was definitely a good value. Next time, I would just try the original one. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the tuna they used in the dish. Regardless, I will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Alley 51 is a go to, lots of options to choose from! It is crowded at times and the wait can be long too, but other than that no complaints! 10/10 great atmosphere great eats !

The udon broth tasted really good, the chicken katsu had a very unique tempura batter and was delicious. I recommend the curry chicken katsu ,please try it. The bulgogi rice bowl was very delicious. It was a new menu so I ordered it. I will go to eat this often. All the food was very generously portioned, so I felt like I could buy for one and share with two people. The place is very cute, the servers are friendly, and it’s an authentic Korean restaurant, which is rare in Charlotte.

I come here all the time to get the same thing every time its amazing but today on Jan 30th 2:30pm it was the opposite my food came lukewarm and became cold 10 minutes after I didn’t take a bite and told a young lady about my problems with my food and she brushed me off not trying to hear my issue out instead encouraged me to eat when i just wanted a remake! she didnt try to fix the issue instead told me that just how they made it ! this will be my last time coming here . im very disappointed

As you can see from the pics got into the meal and then realized I didn’t show what the beginning reveal. So you what’s left. If the pics don’t say anything but it was tasty! Now for the bad for what I paid, I’m not certain if was tasty enough.
Definitely worth a try every now and then. A good repeat eat.

When I ordered here I order Katsu and it was a mistake when I got my food it was pork. I told the cashier that I don’t eat pork and that it was some confusion with the menu. It’s posted above and has a lot of similar items. The cook/manager proceeded to come and lecture me about how I need to read the menu and gave me a hard time with changing my order. Not sure who she thinks she is but there’s a way to handle customer service and clearly she needs a lesson in how to do so. Mistakes happen and the cashier was very kind but the manager needs to get her act together or she won’t be in business very long. The food was not bad but the manager is uncouth and unpleasant

We had a Tuna Mayo Kimbop. It was a bit expensive for the price of a kimbop, but it was really good. I was surprised in a good way! It was worth every penny. And the Tteokbokki I tried last time wasn’t my cup of tea. Next time, I’m going to try Kimchi pasta 🙂
