The remodel looks nice and the staff was friendly. My issue was with the sandwich. I got the chicken salad sandwich and I probably got 5% chicken salad, 50% bread, and 45%lettuce and tomatoes. The chicken salad sounded good and looked good in the stock photos but I honestly can’t give a review on how it tasted. The signature spread was good so maybe I’ll eventually try it on a different sandwich.

First time coming here with my husband. So glad we shared the brisket sandwich because it was disappointing to say the least. The brisket was extremely dry and the tomato and slaw were not complimentary to the brisket. I’m a big sourdough lover and the bread did not have that sour taste one would expect. I would not have known it was sourdough otherwise. I love supporting my local eateries, but this was not it. I won’t be back.

Forget the sandwiches, their chocolate chip cookies are the best I’ve ever tasted.

Being a passionate cookie connoisseur I look for the best of the best. The taste, texture, sugar ratio, consistency, chocolate chip to cookie dough ratio. Everything matters when you’re fighting for the rights to be called The Best Cookie Ever.
Taste? Wow

Chocolate chip to cookie dough ratio? Wow

This cookie shakes up the industry.
Mrs.Fields has been the long time reigning champ of the best cookie. Now? We have a new player in town. From the least suspecting shop, they deliver in every single category.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the The Best Cookie Ever award.
Congrats Sourdough, congratulations, and very well done.

Brand new business in our community with a lot of young people being employed. Outstanding service from the kiddos working there, but definitely are very nervous. Food is very good (French dip was outstanding) and they pump the orders out as fast as they can. Management seems to be very engaged and I’ve heard very positive and motivating comments from them to their team. Only negative things to say at this point is it’s bloody hot in there…..gotta get the AC up, l, get prices on the website, and hours of operation on the front of the business. All in all, very excited for this business here, and you can see the employees and management are excited and motivated too.

Sourdough & Co just opened in Ladera Ranch, so I wanted to try it out. I ordered three sandwiches to go: a 6” brisket sandwich, a 6” pesto chicken sandwich, and a 4” turkey sandwich, along with a small Cobb salad. I placed the order in the store, and it took a little over 30 minutes to receive my food, which felt like a long wait—especially since I had a young toddler with me and the order was for sandwiches.
Once I got home, the turkey sandwich and the Cobb salad were both very good. I didn’t personally try the brisket or pesto chicken sandwiches, but I did have some of the sourdough bread that came on the side. The bread was good, though slightly sweet, which I wasn’t expecting.
The total came to about $50, which feels a bit pricey to me for sandwiches. The food quality was good, but at that price point I would expect a much faster turnaround time.
Overall, I would probably go back, mainly because there aren’t many sandwich options in the area besides Jersey Mike’s, but I hope the service speed improves.

We ordered like normal but it did take quite a bit of time, there was no air conditioning, and they got our orders wrong. The sourdough was really good but I’m not entirely that we would come back due to the atmosphere and prices (especially as a family of 4).

Very small portions for the price. Sourdough is good, but sandwich not worth the squeeze. Board and brew is better. I won’t be surprised if ladera rents force this restaurant to close too.
