We ordered the Bo ne and the special combo pork chop rice plate. They both tasted good and the portions were good.

The service was extremely slow.
We waited at the front for a while then the kitchen staff told us to sit down. The server was upset when we sat down at an empty table. The place was not packed at all. Took forever to get our orders in but the food came out fast.

The atmosphere was really clean and new.

Overall, this is real authentic Vietnamese pho, rice plate, and banh mi place. The food was good but pricier than other places around.

The hunt for good authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Utah is never-ending but Ooh Pho is definitely on that list that I would recommend to my friends, family and colleagues! We went here on a Saturday for lunch. We ordered cơm tấm, bún thịt nướng chả giò and phở. Right off the bat I noticed they brought out 2 kinds of fish sauces for the cơm tấm and bún thịt nướng, now that’s the first sign you know this is legit. Exactly like how it’s done in Vietnam! Rarely for a Vietnamese restaurant in Utah to have that slightly thicker fish sauce for the cơm tấm. And they use actual tấm (broken rice). Their egg rolls are really good: wrappings are not too thick, well-seasoned filling and crispy. The grilled pork on my cơm tấm was seasoned just right, charred slightly on the grill to have that smoky flavor while staying so juicy. Same for the grilled pork on bún thịt nướng. This place knows how to make good bì (shredded pork skin), something that restaurants here in Utah just seem to struggle with. The pho broth is good and the bowl came with generous meat. By this point you can tell how STOKED I am to find this place.

On top of the food, they have beautiful interior decor with the nón lá and wall arts. The staffs were friendly. Price is really reasonable for the portion you get. I’m impressed and would recommend this restaurant for legit Vietnamese food. Wow!

Tasty homestyle pho. This broth is aromatic and sweet with plenty of meat and noodles. The chili is flavorful but does lacks some spice. Service could use some improvement though. Ill come back and try their bun bo hue

This restaurant just opened near us so my husband and I decided to give them a try. We loved it! I got pho with brisket and well cooked beef, the broth was extremely flavorful before adding any optional sauces like chili oil. The meat was tender and the veggies to put on top were very fresh and crunchy. My husband got a rice bowl with honeyed pork and it was also really yummy! I always have tea with my meals when restaurants offer it, because it helps with digestion. A lot of the time the tea is not brewed properly or just lacks flavor. I had jasmine tea with my meal and it was brewed really well with loose leaf jasmine tea that was so fragrant and delicious. The wait staff were friendly and very helpful and attentive. Combined with its beautiful and relaxing decor, this is a great place to eat!

Just tried Ooh Pho and I loved it! Simple menu but everything was tastefully made. I ordered Phở Đặc Biệt and Broken rice. Pho is super flavorful, the portions are generous, and everything tastes really fresh. Broken Rice is one of the best (if not the best) I’ve had in Salt Lake, period!!! The staff are friendly and the place is clean and cozy. So happy to have a great new Viet place in Taylorsville!!! I’ll definitely be coming back!

We are from Grand Junction, Colorado. Today we came to Utah to visit friends. We had a meal at Ooh Pho, and it can honestly be said that this is the best Pho we have ever had. The pho is very delicious, with lots of meat, and the prices are very reasonable. The other dishes are also tasty. The staff are friendly and the place is clean and cozy. We will definitely be back.

I have lived in Utah for almost five years and have tried many Vietnamese restaurants around the Salt Lake area, but this is the one I would say offers the most authentic Vietnamese food in Utah. You can find it in the Salt Lake City area, especially in Taylorsville. I’m really, really highly recommended.
They have a really special signature dish that you should try, called “Phở Thố Đá”. It’s a really good one, and you need to try it. They offer a reasonable price with outstanding quality, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic customer service. 100/10 to give this business a thumbs up.

Not sure I’ve had a better bowl of soup than the off-menu beef stew they have on some weekends—wow, the beef chunks and tendon melt in your mouth, the aromatic broth had such depth, and the fresh bread was perfect for dipping. Also the Vietnamese coffee with salted cream is a tad pricey but incredible—pump it straight into my veins. I’ll skip the spring rolls next time, but will be back for sure. Cute owners that seemed really proud of their offering, as they should be. Hope they succeed!

I ordered the lemongrass beef bánh mì for takeout, and overall it was a really satisfying sandwich. The bread was exactly what you want in a bánh mì—perfectly crunchy on the outside while still soft inside. The lemongrass beef was different than I expected, but in a good way: authentic, flavorful, tender, and a nice change from the typical grilled pork or chicken.
My only critique is that I wish there had been more đồ chua (pickled daikon and carrot). The acidity and crunch were there, just not enough to balance everything out the way I love.
Still, it was a solid bánh mì and worth ordering again—especially if they bump up the pickled veggies next time. I can’t wait to come back & dine in to try more of their menu.
