Had a really nice stop in Tazza Grill on our road trip. The menu had a lot of options, the burgers were good, space was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. It was a quick stop, but I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Thank you again!

The name of the restaurant,Tazza – meaning “fresh” – really sums up what we found in this gem of place. The falafel and grilled chicken bowls were cooked just right a d large portions. Even a big eater like I am couldn’t finish. The owner was very hospitable and the place was quite popular when we were there at lunchtime. Highly recommended.

Emporia was a halfway point to meet friends for lunch. Chose restaurant based on menu and 4.7 Star rating. Neat little restaurant with friendly service.

Humms salad had homemade hummus and was delicious. Three of us had the Cheese Steak Deluxe. Being from Philly, it was excellent including the right kind of roll. Onion rings and fries were very good.

This is a family run small business that I highly recommend!

Stopped by to get a to go order. Everyone spoke, was polite, and was appreciative of my business. The dining was clean, neat, and offered plenty of seating. Food was very good. The owner/chef came out and talked with me. Very nice gentleman. Will eat here again. Door Dash available.

Hidden gem in Emporia!! We were searching for something to eat in the area that wasn’t a chain restaurant. The excellent reviews led us here and they did not disappoint!! We ordered a Steak & Cheese Sub, Slack Burger with fries and a Grilled Chicken Bowl. Everything was fresh and perfectly made to order. Customer service was top notch and the place is very clean!!! We will stop here anytime we are close!!

We were very happy to get some falafel on our way back to Georgia when leaving Virginia. The falafel is made from fresh, not a dry mix. It comes with hummus already on it. You can get a good yogurt-based sauce for it if you ask for it, that Mo makes himself.

The fries and onion rings were made from frozen products, but were freshly prepared. We really liked both.

The toilet is equipped with a bidet attachment which is nice (and halal if you are interested). Though, the toilet seat was on very loose, so don’t crush your balls. Hopefully, it will be on tight and right on our next visit. The bathroom door did not have an automatic closer, and opens directly onto the cash register stand. Another minor critique.

There was a case on the counter that looked like it should be holding some baklava, but it was empty. I say ditch the case – skip trying to sell the locals such a delicacy. It’s never really worth $3 a piece anyway, which is what businesses try to get for it. It will just end up going out-of-date.

The establishment seemed to be doing a good takeout business based on what we observed. The tablets were ringing regularly.

This place is a little off the main path, and in the heart of EBT territory, but was quiet, safe, and well worth the slight detour. Mohammed was a very nice gentleman of Egyptian heritage who made us feel very welcome.

We recommend Tazza. It lives up to its name – which translates “fresh.” Stay in business, and we will return.

Heading north on 95 and decided to try Tazza Grill—so glad we did. Small clean place with friendly service. Hubby had a fried chicken sub that was very good but larger than he expected. (He didn’t complain about that!) I had the fried chicken salad (no onions) which was also very good—fresh veggies and perfectly prepared chicken. We travel this route fairly often so we’re happy to have found this place. Will be back.

The wings here were awesome
We were traveling up the highway and found them.
Not to far off the exit either.
They were closed when we got there but the owner and his wife opened up for us and another traveler.
Totally awesome
Who does that very nice people and food was good. Definitely recommended!!!
Enjoy

My wife and I came from Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. We had a beef pepperoni pizza and Chicken cheese steak. Staff was very polite, respectful and courteous. The Halai Tea was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!
