The ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant, and even the restrooms are well-maintained. I had the opportunity to meet Shelby and another gentleman whose name I did not catch. I am uncertain if I visited at the most opportune time, as the cook had left, and they were awaiting the arrival of a replacement, which may have led to some issues with my appetizer. This was my first visit, so I cannot be entirely sure.
I ordered the Buffalo chicken dip, which consisted solely of buffalo sauce and shredded chicken, lacking any cream cheese or creamy flavor. The overall taste was overpowering and rather unappetizing. However, I appreciated that they brought me freshly made tortilla chips to replace the stale ones, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction under the circumstances. Additionally, I ordered the Wagyu burger with fries. The onion jam was exceptional, likely the best sauce I have ever encountered. The brioche bun was well-suited for the burger, as it did not become soggy despite the considerable amount of juice and sauce. The fries were also exquisite. Overall, I have no substantial complaints and commend the staff for maintaining their professionalism despite the challenges posed by the absent cook. While I typically prefer to try new items rather than reorder, I can only hope that the dip was a result of an atypical day in the kitchen.

Streetcar Bar & Bites is easily one of the best spots in Charlotte. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, the food is fresh and delicious, and the drinks are top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

I’m really disappointed with my experience tonight at Streetcar Bar + Bites.
My mother, my 5-year-old, and I came in and waited over 10 minutes without a single greeting or acknowledgment from anyone working. There were only about 4 tables seated — maybe 12 people total — so it was definitely slow, yet there were 3 bartenders/servers on the floor.
One of the servers even made eye contact with us and still walked away without saying anything like “I’ll be right with you.” Meanwhile, we watched them serve a couple that came in after us before anyone ever checked on us.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I’ve been here before, loved their drinks, and appreciated that it’s walking distance from my place. But the service tonight was terrible, especially considering how slow it was and how many staff members were working.
Really disappointed. I expected much better.

Went for dinner at Pizza Baby in Charlotte NC and saw that Streetcar Bar & Bites was open so decided to check it out. Was a Monday night so not too busy but really enjoyed and liked the space. They played really good music and had a lot of bar seating and plenty of tables. I had a few glasses of wine and my bf had beer. They had a pretty good selection of both as well as cocktails. My only negative is that my wine glass was empty for about 10 minutes and I had to ask for another. No big deal on my end but they would have made a lot more money on me lol. The food was solid. The fries were definitely hand cut and crispy and seasoned well. The bartender also suggested the corn and crab fritters. They were light and not greasy and crunchy. Will definitely come back And have other things for sure!

To he food was not good at all. The food was super over sauced, hard to eat. When told the waitress that the salad was not right it took them forever in 12 days to bring a different salad mind you that when we walked in there was only two people in the restaurant besides staff. It took them 30 minutes to fix the issues and my daughter even got sick soon as well left. Beautiful spot but the food was a very hard miss!

Been going here for LSU football watch parties this season. Lots of TVs so good view from almost any seat. Restaurant is pretty new i think. Bar is very clean, accommodating, & good Bar staff. Good food & drinks as well. I’ll continue being a patron

The food is decent, place is cool. But, they sell chicken tenders for $17. Expect to spend $30-$40 a person for above average bar food if you have a drink.

This place has SO much potential, but the service is abysmal. The atmosphere is fun, they have a great patio and the food is pretty good for bar food. We live a mile down the road and would come a lot more often, but it’s guaranteed you’re waiting a minimum of 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge you. I’ve never seen bartenders move so slow, there is no rush whatsoever. We just came here for the first time in months to give it another try and it was the exact same slow service we’ve always experienced.

I’ve been here twice now and both times were quite lovely. Steve took great care of me and my meal mate.
Really tasty food, strong drinks, and a chill environment. There’s even a nice outdoor area with couches, TV, and fire pits

This place is a few easy steps away from being good. But we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 wraps. The wraps came out before the apps. The wraps weren’t cut. Fries weren’t freshly fried. The service was extremely slow despite there being nobody in there. Food was good in general but was disappointed with the service and timing of the food.
