I got a medium oxtail with plantain, mac and cheese, and rice and peas, plus a small jerk chicken with mac and cheese and plantain and wow, the food was incredible! You get so much for such a good price. The oxtail was tender, falling right off the bone and full of flavor, the jerk chicken had the perfect spice, and the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious.
Everything tasted fresh and homemade, you can tell they really put love into their cooking. Honestly, this is some of the best food you’ll ever eat. Some nice I found this restaurant 2 months ago, I eat here once or twice a week.
The owners are also such sweethearts, love love this place!

In my opinion, this establishment serves the most exceptional oxtail in Philadelphia. The entire menu is filled with outstanding options, and the customer service is consistently excellent. The staff’s warm hospitality creates a welcoming ambiance that keeps me coming back.

Came for the jerk chicken stayed for the collard greens. I mean damn! Some of the best collard greens I ever had. Taste like Grandmama made em. Everything was delicious. I am more than satisfied & its right around the corner!!! My new spot cuz!

Food is PENTIFUL! My Bahamian husband wanted some Jamaican food. We live in NE Philly and our Jamaican restaurant closed, so we looked for another Jamacian restaurant that had a good rating. We drove over 40 minutes to this place. He ordered 3 dishes: a small chicken curry, a large chicken curry and a large curry mutton. He got 3 meat pies. The pies were FANTASTIC . They could have had a bit more filling, but the taste was absolutely YUMMY!!! Definitely authentic Jamacian beef Patty’s. My curry chicken plate, (seen below) was LOADED. Definitely more food than most Jamacian places!!! I can’t tell you how many Jamaican spots we went to and all we get is bones with a little bit of meat. This place OVERLOADES you with meat!!! The plantains were DELICIOUS .
The mac and cheese was a tiny bit dry, but I still would pick this place over all the Jamacian spots we tried before. Having a husband from the islands is fantastic because he finds the best Caribbean food. I DEFINITELY recommend this place! They were not stingy with the food and it was SEASONED fantastically. Do yourself a favor and try them out!!!! They deserve nothing but 5 stars!

Great food & they have the utmost respect and great customer service ever!!! They are not mean when it comes on to sharing their oxtails at all. Food taste excellent as always and I get my money’s worth. 10/10 I recommend this spot !!!! Not my first time here and it won’t be my last time either ♂️ ♂️

My husband found this restaurant on TikTok, and since we were visiting from DC, we decided to give it a try. Most of us agreed it’s the best Caribbean food we’ve had in a long time! Our favorite Caribbean spot in DC burned down a few years ago, and we haven’t had jerk chicken like that since — until now.
This trip was definitely worth the drive. I was a little nervous making the drive, but that chicken was definitely worth it!
We will absolutely be back again with family. Next time I’m coming for the oxtails, cabbage, rice & peas, and cocoa bread
The customer service in person was great, but I will say we were a little disappointed because when we called ahead, we were told one thing, and when we arrived we were told something completely different. Other than that, the food definitely made up for it.

A friend recommended this place and everything was Awesome. I got a medium platter of oxtails with white rice, Mac and cheese along with yams. It’s was enough to feed 2-3 people. The place was very clean and welcoming. I will definitely pass the word around to others . I’m minutes away from here and I never know about this business. I also heard very good remarks from a food critic that I follow, JL Jupiter. Thanks for the excellent service and food. I’ll be back!!!
