Having worked with the general manager before at a previous restaurant my expectations were high. My husband and I decided to stop in and try 1711 for our anniversary and my expectations were all met. The atmosphere is awesome very sleek with several elements from different designs. We were greeted immediately, our server was extremely attentive and the food and drinks were delicious. We ordered the Pimento cheese dip and Buffalo dip as apps both were incredible. For drinks I had the French Kiss which was an amazing twist on a French 75 my husband ordered a blue moon one of many draft selections. For dinner we ordered the Carnivore pizza and it was also Delicious. Overall a great experience.

Finally a great restaurant in Beaufort! The 1711 Tap House gets 5 stars all around for their style, delicious food and great service. The staff are friendly and accommodating. My husband and I had the meatball appetizer which was the best meatballs we have EVER had out and plenty for both of us. We shared a salad. All fresh greens and yummy dressing. We shared the sausage and pepper pizza and I will never go anywhere else in this area for pizza. The sauce was so good. The pizza was thin and the crust was crispy and a little burnt to bring out the flavor – just the way we like it! The bar top is made of oyster shells and gorgeous! Keep up the good work! Highly recommend 1711 Tap House!
We went back and had their lemon pepper wings and they were delicious! None I have ever had prior compare to how good these wings were! Outstanding! I will add a photo…

Exceptional, hand crafted cocktails. Good wine selections. The bartender is friendly and has great conversation.Althpugh we did not eat here, it looked like the pizaa was a cuatomer favorite. My friends and I truly enjoyed 1711 Tap House. We had a great time!

Folks, if you give this place a try I have no doubt you will return. It’s new, it’s clean, and it is delicious. It has an upscale coastal vibe but not in an intimidating way. In spite of having opened only days prior, I found the service, atmosphere and food to be wonderful. The mozzarella sticks are easily the best I have ever had but my favorite dish was the meatballs. They were a special the evening we were there but hopefully they become a regular menu item. The garlic knots and Tour of Italy pizza were also delicious. Recipe development is impeccable. Every item had a unique and delightful taste, not like anything you could order anywhere else. We did not have cocktails but the bar is beautiful and it was buzzing. Put 1711 Taphouse on the list for your next date night, family dinner, or your next trip to the Beaufort area. You will not be disappointed.

We finally got to try this place out. They have done an unbelievable job with the ambiance and decor. We had the buffalo chicken dip appetizer, the penne vodka pasta with meatballs and for me the “main event” was the shrimp n grits pizza !!! All were fantastic. Our server Micah couldn’t have been better. Next time we will dine at the bar, and enjoy some of their tasty beverages. I look forward to dining here often !!!!

The atmosphere is unique and beautiful with a well stocked bar(the chianti pairs well with everything). Our server, Rachel, was very attentive and gave us the best suggestions! We tried the garlic knots, classic pepperoni pizza(comes with sausage, thin crispy crust), and limoncello cake. Everything was fresh and delicious, thank y’all for an amazing experience! 10/10, I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu

The atmosphere is excellent you walk in and get a real high end vibe from the set up. It is a lot smaller than it looks from outside. The food does not match the atmosphere though. For the fancy look of the restaurant the food quality is expected to be higher imo. I will say I went during their lunch hours and the food isn’t bad, the menu leaves much to be desired. I will definitely try it again and see if the dinner menu is better. Had the pepperoni pizza and their BLT. The BLT was massive and looked wonderful the pizza was ok. Service was good the staff were very nice

Visiting the area on a day trip… Montana was the waitress and she was very good. Ordered the pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks. I would recommend going here and of back in the area will be back again. The walkway from the parking lot to the front door is a. It dark (not lit well). I appreciate the military discount give here. Thanks for that.

What a phenomenal experience. The value for the price is UNMATCHED! We were immediately greeted, and seated almost instantly. Our first experience here was on opening night so the owner greeted us and asked us about our experience. All staff, to include those who were directly responsible for building this venue were very kind and seemed to care a great deal about ensuring this place was upscale-but welcome to everyone with open arms. That means you can come here in a T and flip flops and be treated just the same, but you’d enjoy wearing a sports coat, or for the ladies perhaps an opportunity to bust out a little cocktail dress. Food was delicious, and carefully prepared to order. Cocktails were made to order (off the menu) and our server graciously stood by to ensure they were made to our taste (look for the gentleman with the only sage green leather apron 😉 you’re welcome).
Happy to see a place like this in Beaufort. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, traveler or local!

Swanky, Ice-Cold Taps & The Best Mozzarella Sticks in Beaufort
From the moment I stepped through the doors of the brand-new 1711 Tap House, I knew Beaufort just got the restaurant it’s been craving.
This place drips with upscale coastal vibes — a swanky bar infused with oyster shells, warm brick accent walls, and an impressive wine showcase that’ll make you pause mid-conversation. Even the bathrooms are spotless and beautiful — a sign the owners sweat every detail.
I came in for their opening dinner menu (lunch is rolling out soon) and went all in: wood-fired pizza that landed fast with a perfect blistered crust, melty mozzarella, crispy pepperoni, fresh basil — honestly, some of the best pizza I’ve had south of Charleston.
But the sleeper hero? The mozzarella sticks. I’m a mozzarella stick connoisseur, and these are textbook perfect: golden crunch, cheesy pull, seasoned just right. I stand by this — you can judge a place by their mozzarella sticks, and 1711 Tap House sets the bar high.
On the drink side, the Limoncello Mule was bright, zesty, and refreshing — exactly what you want to sip with a hot pizza. The espresso martini was smooth and silky, and the beer? Ice-cold from 24 taps that’ll keep locals parked at the oyster-shell bar all year long.
Service was on point — friendly, fast, exactly what you hope for at a fresh opening. The crowd leaned couples and groups of women catching up over drinks and sharables, but I’d come solo, on a date, or with a crew — it just works. Erich is an amazing manager.
Standout moment? Honestly, just stepping inside — the building is brand new, the design is dialed, and there’s simply nothing like it around Beaufort. I love the oyster shell infused bar
Final Verdict: If you’re local or passing through, get here first. Perfect for date night, girls’ night, foodies or just a casual beer-and-pizza hang. Craft cocktails, killer share plates, ice-cold taps, and a vibe that’s finally pushing Beaufort’s food scene forward. Thank you for having me be part of the testing of the new restaurant
