Baywood is my absolute favorite place to go and get my home work done. The drinks are always amazing, the Turkey, Pesto Croffle is delicious 10/10. But lets talk about the staff because that’s what really makes this Coffee Shop really stand out. From the owner to the manager to every single barista they are friendly, happy to answer questions and remember your name. In a world of fast paced cookie cutter coffee places, Baywood stands out. Its a great place to meet and friend enjoy a drink, the food and the view.

I love this place. I showed up and was served very quickly by who I think was the owner. He was super kind and accommodating. I love the space and the scenery in the cafe as well. My FAVORITE part is the puzzle table. I could sit there for hours and puzzle while looking at the gorgeous view of the bay. I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing friendly service from Annabelle! Tons of great specials, matcha, smoothie and coffee options plus ice cream and baked goods from L&L bakery. It has a great beachy vibe and cute trinkets to browse while your drinks are being made. Took less than 10 min to get coffee and a bagel with only one Barista working. Thanks for being a great spot for locals and visitors to grab a great cup of coffee and enjoy the view ❤️

We have visited this place two times so far. The girls behind the counter are so nice and friendly, the shop is so cute and clean, as is the restroom. There is artwork to look at and a few things to purchase like earrings and coasters and tshirts. The breakfast sandwiches are good, the vanilla lattes are good, the locals are friendly and the views are gorgeous. I imagine we’ll be going every morning while we’re here.

LOVE the coffee and the vibe here! Cozy spot with games, books, and it’s right by the beach. ☕ My white dirty chai (5 shots!) is always on point. The staff is super friendly and make you feel welcome, even when it’s busy. Baywood is a Birch Bay must!

It’s toward the north end of Birch Bay, a small coffee shop across the street from the shore walkway. Inside is a nice homey atmosphere with several tables with chairs and couches. They have the usual selection of coffees and teas, plus seasonal specialties designed by their employees that are highly recommended, and a few sandwiches and cookies. There’s a fireplace to warm yourself up to in the winter, very welcome. Many of the local residents come here frequently, in addition to tourists in the summer. Overall, it’s a good spot to stretch out and relax with a cup after a day out along the bay.

Everything i tried here was amazing. The fall barista picks were all so good, but Annabelle’s was definitely my favorite! Highly recommend the coffee and the staff.

This spot is a true gem
! Something Birch Bay has needed for quite a while! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this little cafe by the beach! The owner has really taken the time to design this place around its setting by capturing the natural surroundings & its history all while supporting local small business owners/artists & keeping up with the current trends! It’s amazing! You must visit to see what I mean. There is so much I could say about thus place in detail but it would be way too long of a review. Let’s just say it’s so worth a visit if you are in the area. They serve yummy food items. Breakfast & lunch. Small menu but perfectly sized for the purpose of this establishment. I ordered a delicious cheese danish that came from a local bakery. It was very tasty! I also noticed something something on the menu that caught my eye & it was the fries. I don’t remember the exact name of them but they were handcut & covered in garlic & parm cheese. I had to order some. They were so good. They hit the spot & the portion was generous! They serve coffee, espresso, tea, blended drinks etc. They have a great selection of ice cream as well, which will be perfect in the summer months (so please remember this place when visiting the bay this summer!) They have an outdoor patio which I’m sure will be open in the summer. Inside is so cozy with a nice couch & fireplace. They have lots of cool reading material if you don’t have a book to read. It’s a perfect spot to bring your laptop to get some work done when you want to escape the busyness of city life. And of course the view of the water brings tranquility to your day! You will also find trinkets & souvenirs handmade by local artists. There is so much in this little spot so go check it out, you will be happy you did! P.S. I snapped some photos including some of the bathroom lol! I had to! When I walked in I thought to myself this is so cool I must share lol! Great job to the owner of Baywood Cafe! I will be back with my family! ☕ ☀️
