One fried catfish fillet with 2 sides & fixings ~ $12. The fish and hush puppies were great. Macaroni and potato salad tasted like it came from a store deli not homemade that was the only disappointment. We got cheese curds as an appetizer, they was garlicky and hot. The other meal we had was smothered chicken over rice which was great. Friendly staff!

Being Lent, we’re always looking for local seafood places to try. When I invited my parents they hadn’t even heard of the place. However, it did not disappoint. The catfish was fresh, crunchy and flavorful. I personally ordered the frog legs, they were amazing! The shrimp was good too, they are JUMBO size. Everything was fresh and made to order. Totally worth it. We will definitely be coming again. Thanks to the friendly staff for making it a good experience.

Now our favorite fish place and it’s only 25 minutes east of Sherman. Worth the drive! I tried the Fried catfish, fried shrimp, collard greens, gumbo and rice and beans.
It was all very good.
We dined in the bar and Ester was an amazing bartender/waitress!! Hope to go back soon because I have more to try.

I told the waitress when I ordered that the fish was only warm the last time I was there. That I wanted hot fish, right after it was cooked. Of course when the fish was brought out it was only warm! I sent it back and told them again that I wanted hot fish. The second time the fish was hot. The fries were cold and uncooked. The macaroni and cheese was slightly warm. The hush puppies were cold. Neither my wife, or enjoyed our meal. This with other times we have had problems with our meal, my wife and I have decided we will not go to Floyd’s any more. There are too many fish restaurant where we can get hot food. I would have give Floyd’s 0 stars, but I had to give them at least 1. The staff was ok, but the food was terrible.

Such awesome place to come and eat some good catfish. Some of the best catfish ive ever had. Also all the employees are so awesome and friendly, and the service is fantastic. Thank yall for the great food and service. Keep it up. Also if you come in ask for Alexius she did a fantastic job.

Catfish is for sure the shining star here. I got the Nola dish with an additional fillet and it was very tasty. Portion size was excellent. I didn’t need the extra fillet after seeing that. Had less of the creamy Cajun sauce than expected. Waitress had zero issue giving me a side of it to add I was wanted.
Other individuals I ate with had the normal fish plate and a gumbo fish plate. The gumbo was fairly average. Not bad. Not great. Not something I’d order again. The beans fell into the same category.
Overall – great experience and worth the drive (traveled from sherman). If they step up their sides game to the level that is their fish – this place will become a very well known feature.

Still needs a little work on some of the items, but overall an awesome new addition to Bonham. Garlic cheese curds could have been a little more crispy as well as the okra. The fried okra was squishy and limp not crunchy like it should be. Fried fish fillets were on point! So yummy and crisp. Lemon pepper grilled fish fillet was delicious. Hush puppies were great. Green beans tasted like they were canned green beans and could have used some help. Cole slaw was good. Service was a tad slow. Getting our food was really slow. Other than those few issues we will definitely be back for more items to try out.

I called in a to go order. As usual restaurants in Bonham pick that time to fix bad plates. I ordered shrimp and 2 sides. They forgot my potato salad; had to go back in and get it. The beans I kid you not were sour. I threw them away. Very disappointed and will never go back. First time I went. The restaurants in Bonham are overpriced and lousy food.

Catfish and shrimp and coleslaw are good. The beans are okay, just not my style. I prefer plain. Hush puppies are good but small and only get 2 of them. Having jalapeno hush puppies would be a plus.
