This review is for their BBQ. I did not order the tacos/Mexican food. Seems so odd to have a ‘taco’ place that has a smoker outside so I ordered BBQ TO GO here. The location is tucked right at McGregor and College before the bridge so not very easy to get to either. It took over 20 minutes to get my order. Not a lot of people either. I ordered 1/2 lb. spare ribs (tasted old and smelly, dry and tough), brisket (was actually tender but was obviously cooked in a crock pot), sausage (good), the quarter leg chicken (incredibly overcooked, dry and was in pieces-see pic). The portions were NOT 1/2 lb. as the menu suggested. I wanted to support local BBQ but unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place for BBQ. I can’t comment on their ‘Mexican’ food…I wish them luck but won’t be going back. Sorry.

We stopped in for dinner and were greeted with a friendly smile and “Welcome in” from Sydney who was behind the counter. She came out to the floor and explained the menu to us and answered all of our questions. We ordered the burritos which were packed and delicious! She recommended the banana pudding and we were so glad she did, it was amazing! Definitely stop in and visit, there are many items on the menu to enjoy. They are also Smokestream BBQ. Fresh and delicious, give them a try!

This is one of SW FLA’s best kept secrets. It has unique tacos and incredible barbeque, dba Taco Worx and Smokestream BBQ. Max, one of the owners, loves what he does. Tonight, while we were eating the best tacos in town, he brought out Pork Belly Burnt Ends with house-made sauce. Wow! Smoked to perfection and served by a guy who loves his customers. Even though it is at the corner of McGregor and College, it’s not necessarily easy to see, but wow is it worth it.

What a pleasant surprise. I came in for tacos and ended up having the smokestream “stuffed” sandwich because I wanted to try the ghost pepper BBQ sauce (in moderation). First, the sandwich was great – very fresh and delicious pulled pork made with “golden” coleslaw and crispy onion pieces. The ghost pepper BBQ sauce was really good – as was the Jamaican BBQ sauce. Both are hot so be careful. I will definitely be back for the tacos. If the BBQ was this good, the tacos are probably great.

Finally stopped here. Next to the Buddha. They have a unique selection of tacos. I ordered the Korean tacos. They didn’t ask soft or hard, and served them soft. I probably would have tried one of each. Each were $5. The meat wasn’t overly seasoned but it was a very generous portion. The taco was delicious and their ghost pepper sauce had a decent kick. They have beer and nutrils. They also have barbeque if you’d like that instead.

What a great place to have close by! Right when you walk in you feel welcomed! Great food, service and a chill place. Had the Philly steak taco and street corn, super flavorful and delicious. The shredded beef was so tender and full of big flavor was very pleased. It was pretty packed and was happy to see that since they just opened this location, but still got in and out! Will definitely be going back. My coworker had the burrito it was huge and he said it was awesome!

First time here, the food is delicious! I had the Buffalo chicken burrito, chips and salsa. One of the best burritos that I have ever eaten! A pleasant surprise! Service was nice and the restaurant seemed clean. Thank you Taco Works. I’ll be back!

A casual restaurant which serves tacos, burritos, nachos, bowls and salads. I went there 3 times within a month and every time I went there I was not disappointed with either the service nor the food. The interior of the restaurant is casual with not too many tables inside, but they also offer sitting outside. The parking is a bit tight, but I didn’t have a problem finding a spot. The food is fresh and very tasty. There is a selection of meat which can be picked for the meals. They do not offer seafood. The dishes come with rice, beans, lettuce and other vegetables depending on the dish. The portions for the price are adequate. The staff there is super nice. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes this type of food.
