I saw this place on Fork It and had to try the ribeye en salsa. It was great but the sirloin tacos were even better. They don’t serve cilantro and don’t accept credit cards, so makes sure to bring cash. The server was very attentive and checked in several times throughout our meal.

Great service & AMAZING food! I recommend the bone marrow (tuatano). We ordered the parillada, which came with 4 meats (sausage, chicken, fajita & beef ribs). The chicken had a spectacular taste due to the seasoning they used to cook it. A huge plus, was that the chicken was super moist, not dry! This is our third time in one month of eating here.

The food was so delicious these pictures don’t do it justice and the amount of food you get for 48$ family pack for 5 is Hands down the best and I will be going more often.
Staff is very nice and helpful.
Definitely a great option if you don’t feel like BBQing/Cooking and letting Tacos Rico’s La Lena BBQ/cook for you.

I’m not sure if we just happened to go at the wrong time of day of the year, but the experience here was horrible, was given a table under a single light bulb hanging from the thinnest electrical wire, better yet it was either off or not working at all.

Half chicken, with the miniscule amount of rice and yet so bland, the half chicken came in 5 pieces, I’ve never seen a chicken with 2 left or right legs, be uase that’s excally what I got together with a breast, wing, and the neck. Like, who eats the NECK of the chicken?
the second meal was an order of tacos, 5 beef corn tortilla tacos, nothing else, no grilled onions, cilantro or even limes, plain as that, meet and corn tortillas. add two soda pops, and the check was for $37. It’s not worth it at all.

We decided to give this place a try. We had been seeing it advertised in FB. We decided to go to their newest location in Mission. Upon arrival we were greeted with a big smile by the waitress. She quickly took our order and within a few minutes brought our drinks to the table. We decided to order the parrillada for 4pp. It came with individual cups of charro beans, a small side of Spanish rice, and a hot plate with plenty of ribs, beef Fajita, pollo asado, Sirloin, sausage, grilled onions, quesadillas, chile torreados, corn tortillas, pico de Gallo,, red & green salsa. At first glance we didn’t think it might not be enough. However, we were definitely wrong. We had plenty of leftovers for the next day. Overall food portions were good, service was great, food was delicious, on price paid was right on point.
