We had an exceptional dining experience. The food was outstanding, and we’re so glad we decided to stop by. Arriving right at opening time worked out perfectly, and it’s easy to see that this place is going to become very popular.
We ordered the Step to Heaven, Ankimo, sizzling steak, and sushi. Everything was fantastic. The sushi was especially impressive and truly memorable, and the steak was incredibly flavorful and delicious.
Our server was amazing—full of energy and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest had a great experience.
It’s clear this restaurant is headed for great things in Kona. I highly recommend checking it out now, before reservations become a must. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the sushi on the menu!

Honestly I have read so many amazing reviews about this place and they are true!! I have eaten here 3 times since they opened only about a week and a half ago!
I cannot get enough of the innovative sushi and unique flavors! Hands down and up because this is the BEST sushi place in Kona. We need a place like this in Kona to bring back the life in this tired town and give us somewhere with an amazing ambience to sit and eat. I was blown away by the decor and the look of the place, it truly made me feel as if I was in Japan.
The food is on it’s own scale!!! The tastes, the presentation and the quality is above and beyond. I am so impressed and just taken away by the care that goes into each dish. I totally recommend the Maui Dole Roll, Hawaii Roll, Miyazaki Roll and the VIP Roll!!!
The service is so wholesome and very inviting. The waitresses even loved on my baby niece and showed so much care towards us. They definitely gave us the family treatment!!!
I HONESTLY have to say to those who wrote unwanted reviews here, you folks are TOTALLY wrong about this place… I don’t how you expect a restaurant that just opened to function like one that is 10 years in… I think that the problem is that people expect too much in the beginning and don’t give any GRACE… Be Kind, Be Patient and Give Grace.

We came for their soft opening on the first day. We ordered 3 sushi rolls: the Maui Dole Roll, the Tuna Lovers Roll and the Love Volcano Roll. The fish in all the sushi was extremely fresh. All the rolls had amazing flavor and beautiful presentation. Would highly recommend checking this place out. We will be back!

Okay, this place is seriously great. The Wagyu roll, Soft Shell Crab roll, Love Lava Volcano roll, and Waikiki roll were suppah good ,everything was flavorful, and perfectly made. Each roll had its own unique taste.

The sushi is super fresh and the staff are so, so sweet and welcoming, traditional japanese cuisine and the Orion beer is definitely a must. We got the Tuna Lover’s, the Samurai (if you like Eel you HAVE to get this one), and the takoyaki were perfect. Must visit while you’re in Hawaii

I absolutely recommend the wagyu beef roll, never had anything like it before it’s not pictured because it was gobbled up too quick . The flavors layered together so perfectly, it’s unforgettable. My first time there, and will be back soon!

Checked out Miyazaki in Kona for a family dinner and it delivered. The nigiri and sashimi were great quality. The uni was fresh and rich, the scallop nigiri was clean and buttery, and the seared scallop appetizer was cooked perfectly with solid presentation. The sizzling seafood plate came out hot with great flavor tender squid, crisp veggies, and a well-balanced sauce.
Service was on point. Friendly staff and fast service. Great new addition to Kona. Strong date-night spot. I’ll be back.
