Sloooow! Waited over 30 minutes to get our very simple order. Hash browns were fried to a crisp, English muffin had a whole ripped through it. Just bad management, slow and poorly trained staff.

Hyvee has always been one of my wife and I’s favorite stops with two kids. The chef, Alex, at the Jordan Creek Pkwy Hyvee in Des Moines made us certain that we will keep coming back to Hyvee again and again. After a 6 hour road trip with two kids, we were exhausted, the kids were fussy, and all of us were starving. The service was quick as always, and Alex took time before ending his shift to come over and talk to us and the kids. He cleaned the table, got the kids high chairs that he cleaned and brought over waters for the kids. Not necessary at all, but he still did it and made dinner for two tired parents much easier. Thank you Alex and thank you Hyvee!

Ivy Market Grill has been one of my go to breakfast places for 20 years and the last three times I’ve stopped in there’s nobody around to take an order or wait on anyone. I understand the labor market‘s tough but close the doors if you don’t have any staff don’t let somebody just sit there.
