This restaurant was by far one of the best I’ve had on the island. The flavours are very consistent and delicious. The family is so sweet, and you will not be disappointed when you go here. The presentation of the food is also very colourful and well put together. They have a lot of options, and the seating area feels very home-like, which is nice because there is plenty of shade when you sit down. The husband and wife made my friends and me feel like we were at home. She would slightly alter dishes for us without worry and checked up on us to make sure that everything was okay with the food. I definitely consider this place a hidden gem with very reasonable prices. I can’t wait to come back again.
Thank you so much!

This family-owned Peruvian restaurant is such a gem. The food is incredibly delicious and feels truly authentic, and the casual atmosphere makes it easy to relax and enjoy the experience.
The ceviche is one of the best I’ve had—super fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced. We also ordered the ají de gallina and the anticuchos peruanos, and both were absolutely incredible. You can really taste the care and tradition in every dish.
Definitely a spot worth coming back to if you’re craving high-quality, authentic Peruvian food without any fuss.

North Shore Hidden Gem.
Food is absolutely always top notch.
My Japanese wife who grew up with grandparents that owned 4 sushi restaurants loves all the seafood dishes here which says a lot, she is usually very critical about Fish quality at other places but this spot’s seafood dishes is approved by her. Also my fisherman friend sometimes sales them his fresh caught bottomfish like Uku caught that morning right here in Haleiwa so I know they try very hard to source the freshest high quality sea food.
I usually like to get lomo saltado or steak pasta and sometimes I’ll add Yuca fries to go after work. Sorry the picture is dark they got me this lomo saltado to go right before closing.
Food is usually ready in about 15 minutes.
Park at Smoking Boar and walk around to the back yard you’ll find Peruvian Corner.
I’m usually the kind of guy that likes to keep my local hidden gem spot to myself and not write a review about it but I’m writing this review because the family that runs this spot is a good hard working family and I truly wish them all the success in Life.

This is the place to go! I’m not familiar with Peruvian food but my fiancé is. Him and his family are from Peru and he has struggled to find a restaurant that tastes like home. He was absolutely astonished with this place and loved their food! I haven’t seen him that happy with food ever, especially when searching for authentic Peruvian food! He said he felt like he was back home again with his abuela. I loved their food too! I haven’t had had the pleasure of visiting Peru yet, but I’m even more excited now from the taste of their food!

Out of all the places to eat on this island this place is by far the best! We are currently eating here and have NEVER been disappointed in the food or the family that runs it! It’s a small place but well worth the drive. DON’T hesitate, come eat here, you won’t regret it!!!

So delicious. Such a great addition to the north shore food scene. Going to be my new go to spot when I’m in Waialua. Best Ceviche on this side and the yuca fries were so dang crispy. All of it was delicious. Muchas gracias Fanny. Hasta la próxima

Great food with great service.
I don’t know much about Peruvian food so we went with the specials for the day. Along with the scallops we saw from other people’s posts.
The food itself was great. My favorite were definitely the scallops. The beef was perfectly cooked in my dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I do want to come back and try the ceviche and the octopus.
Parking is a little cramped in this area but there was a spot open when we arrived.
The service is friendly and welcoming.
Overall a great experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE AN 1000 star rating if a could. My family is from the very north western area of Peru, right off the coast and we know what good seafood and Peruvian food is. I have travelled a crossed the United States and I could have never imagined this joint would be in the island of Hawaii. I would 110% recommend for their food and hospitality. The chef and his wife greeted us so kindly and made us feel comfortable while we waited for the food. We tried a couple Peruvian places on the island and they were absolutely disgraceful but this particular place (Peruvian Corner) is an absolute gem and will not disappoint. MAHALO PERUVIAN CORNER for a great experience and foooood!
