I’ve always loved Potbelly when I have visited in other cities and was excited to see that there was one now open in Ogden. On Wednesday, we ordered a philly cheesesteak and a meatball sandwich for dinner and split both half and half. We agreed the the meatballs weren’t great but the hot peppers kind of covered up the flavor. Unfortunately, we got terrible food poisoning (we hadn’t eaten any of the same food within the preceding 24 hours, so we know it came from the sandwiches). As a result, I don’t think I’ll be eating here again.

Stopped at the Potbelly in Ogden today and waited over 15 minutes just to place an order, with only one couple ahead of me. During that time, five different people came in, waited, and left because of how long it was taking.
The drive-thru performance screen said it all — 0% of goals met, nearly 10-minute service times, and total lane times over 24 minutes, even though their goal is 2 minutes. Clearly, something is off with how this location is being run.
I actually felt bad for the two girls working, who were doing their best but had no management present to help or keep things running efficiently. Managers should be out front running around, doing damage control with customers, and helping with understaffing — not leaving employees to struggle alone.
The food here is usually good when you finally get it, but the management and staffing are seriously lacking. It shouldn’t take this long for basic service, especially during non-rush hours.

It was a cute little sandwich shop with a little old time charm. The menu was clear and easy to read. The service was top notch, they directed me where to go and made the food fast. I have found a new favorite sandwich place. The Cubano was delicious! Perfect proportions of the meats and pickles, could have used more deli mustard but was overall very tasty. I will definitely be back to this location!

First and last time for this place!
We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to have a quick sandwich, I got The southwest avocado chicken wrap, and we also got a Mediterranean sandwich. This was the worst wrap I’ve ever had. It was dry like a cracker unable to even eat the wrap! There were 13 people in line, 3 Uber or door dash pick iups waiting. Phones was ringing off the hook and with only two girls on shift hustling as fast as they could! This is an absolute joke & fail on the owner. I bet these poor girls hate their job and wished they could have had some help! It’s not their fault and I’m sure they were as frustrated as the customers.
Do not offer banana pudding shakes if you don’t have the ingredients or time to make them!
we paid $40 for our order and still waited an extra 20 minutes for our food.
Do better next time for your employees and customers!!!!

Ordered the chicken salad sandwich and I have to say I feel pretty misled by the advertising. There was maybe a spoonful of chicken salad and hardly any actual food other than bread. The extra star is for the cookie however, which I thought was good! Probably won’t be back.

Finished eating at Potbelly here in Ogden. I picked the pick a pair and had the bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado sandwich, and it was great. The bacon was really tasty and had lots of Fixin’s! I also had the chicken pot pie soup, which had a really good flavor. They also have these refresher drinks that were really good! I had the strawberry dragon fruit flavor that hit the spot. Yummy!!!! The people fixing our food were also very nice!!!

I absolutely love Potbelly’s! The sandwiches are always fresh, perfectly toasted, and packed with flavor. The bread has that perfect crunch on the outside and softness inside, and the ingredients taste super high quality. The staff is always friendly and quick, even during busy hours, and the vibe inside feels cozy and welcoming. I especially love grabbing a cookie or shake with my sandwich — it’s the perfect combo. Definitely one of my go-to lunch spots!

Ordered pick up like I normally do, go to pick it up as usual, and this time I got ignored by all three staff members.. one even asked if I was there for pick up to which I said yes, and she just walked off.
This is the quickest way to go from 5 stars to 1.
Edit: When I got home to eat my sandwich I discover that I got a skinny when I ordered an original.. this location has severly gone down hill in the last few weeks. Not sure what changed but I am going to seek out an alternative sandwich shop if this keeps up. If I wanted subpar food at a $10/person average I’d go to subway.

First time trying it out. Super slow service. Only one couple in front of us, took about 30mins to get our sandwiches. 2 total employees. I ordered a Cuban that had cold pork. Dirty tables and a few flies zooming around in Feb. seemed odd. We will not be back. It was like a crappy Quiznos/Schlotzky’s.
