I wanted some fish so looked up places and this came up with good reviews so I decided to give them a try. I passed by it the first time because you can’t tell from the outside really that’s it’s a restaurant. I was greeted when I walked in and the ladies in there were really friendly and helpful with ordering since it was my first time. I ended up getting the turkey wings with cabbage and Mac & cheese and I was not disappointed!! They were so good and earned them a loyal customer!

I called this Location to ask if they had a specific menu item Out of all the stores i called they had what i was looking for. The reason i give them 5 stars is because of the atmosphere and customer service that i received when i arrived. They 2 young ladies at rhe front counter made sure to repeat my order back, ask if i needed condiments and were very professional. I met the owner and she was also very professional and informative. They have a nice dining area and a bar in the back. When i asked if they do events they said yes. This would be a great place if someone was looking to do a small gathering they may even do catering just ask. There very friendly and open. Definitely returning soon.

We were visiting colleges close by and decided to search on places to eat near by and this gem came up. It caught our attention because it had authentic soul food listed on their menu. We decided we wanted to sample a few items so we called and ordered for pick up, the smothered turkey wings (it comes with rice), the chicken and fish combo comes with fries, and an order of pig’s feet. The lady that took my order was so friendly and her customer service was on point! When we got there to pick it up, my husband decided we would eat there. They have a dining room looks to seat about 35 people, 2 bars and I believe there was an area to dance and there was a DJ booth. My husband was so tickled by this set up, said it reminded him of places he go for cabarets! Back to tje food, it was amazing, even the fries were hot and seasoned! Fish was crispy and every bite had flavor, chicken was flavorful and crispy, turkey wings were SO good (would have liked the skin to have been a little less soft) and I don’t eat pig’s feet but my husband said they were VERY good!!! The ladies working checked in on us numerous times and were just amazing. We loved the whole experience!!

If you place an online order, call them to be sure they got it! I got there after placing online order, but they said they didn’t receive it. The woman helping me was very apologetic though and when I got my meal it was fresh, hot and good! I had chicken wing dinner and fish dinner. Everything was very good, even the tea and lemonade. I’ll definitely return.

Came down from Cincinnati, Ohio and stopped in for lunch. The food was delicious and generous portions. Could only eat half of everything & took the rest for later. Best oxtail’s & cakes I ever ate!!! Definitely will be back next year! Thank you Dorset & family for your hospitality ❤️

Just moved to the area & found this little gem close to my house. I tried the smothered pork chop dinner & two pieces of cake, the food is AMAZING! Taste like my grandma is in the kitchen! The service was great, very friendly welcoming staff. I will be returning.
