Fannie Lou’s is a top-tier gem of a chicken establishment. My table had the chicken wings as well as chicken n waffles, and both were remarkable. Cooked well, garnished to perfection, and served with attention to detail. We also had a couple slices of cheesecake to go, and can’t recommend enough as well.

There is only outdoor seating. Would recommend dine-in for warmer months and take-out for cooler days.

I got the pecan paline crusted chicken tenders with the waffle.i was honestly thinking the location was moreso, North Memphis but this location is actually down town. The tenders had a nice glaze to them that complemented the crispness. The waffle was cool. He did not have any sides on this particular day. Before really thoroughly observing the location I would say $24 is way to much for 3 tenders and a plate sized waffle. After paying and briefly walking around the scenery, the elegance that the aera bring in the down town district i can see why they are a big on the higher side .The food was good n the turtle chz cake was a hit but I couldn’t see myself being a regular because of the price point(which can be overlooked),and the menu being limited to a hand full of items . Was the food good ? Yes . Would I go back ? Of course if I was in the aera I probably wouldn’t go out the way, because its kinda on the pricey side&, the menu is limited, but also keep in mind this is an upscale establishment in an upscale part of the city ,Never the less I would recommend u to check them out the food WAS NOT BAD AT ALL

This was our first time here and it was delicious! The presentation, the flavors, and the service was 10/10. We didn’t try any desserts this time, but they all looked amazing in the display. We’re looking forward to more visits for the times when we’re craving something sweet and savory. If you haven’t been definitely stop by.

The wings were amazing. We tried it with the Bourbon BBQ sauce (ran out of the orange soda BBQ), and it was really good. The praline chicken tenders and waffle was also very good and it will definitely give you a sugar high. We ordered a slice of cheesecake to go so will find out whether it’s worth $12 later tonight.

Scratch made & intimate restaurant. If you’re in a rush it’s in your best interest to order ahead of time. Wings are amazing. Roasted to perfection and well seasoned. I’m no waffle enthusiast but they were good. Now I do consider myself a mac n cheese connoisseur.. honestly their mac didn’t do it for me. While I was waiting for my food there were a dozen people who came in for cheesecake. So if that’s your jam then I would suggest stopping by for a slice.

Today I went into Fannie Lou to purchase cheesecake. I’ve been coming all week to purchase a specific cheesecake. Well, today there were two customers in front of me as I waited to order. As I was looking the lady in front stated “ you can come look “ I’ll move over.

The owner or whomever ( the black guy who always wear the bandanna with the trucker ear piece headset ) was really rude. He fanned me off and told the lady no. First come first serve. That I’ll see when it was my time to order.

You never should treat people rude and be disrespectful when they’re putting into your business. Please do better! Never will EVER return.

Atmosphere is nice. Very cozy. Very welcoming, almost homey even though it was our first time. There is limited seating however; they have outside seating and it would be an awesome space if warmer. They made the most with the space provided. The menu is concised but with enough variety. The food was great, well seasoned, well proportioned and very filling. Servers were awesome; brought the food, kept checking on us, and even gave us free water. For a dinner of two, you’ll spend $50 for a filling meal with enough for a to-go box. The cheesecake corner is a great end to a meal if you still have space. For $6 a slice, again huge slices, you can really bump up the score to a 9/10 ($20)

Today I discovered Fannie Lou’s and was not disappointed. Travis was our server AND chef and he deserves more than 5 ⭐️!! He was super attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided the best service I’ve had in a long time! I ordered the Praline Crusted Chicken tenders and not only was the portion generous, chicken succulent & sauce finger-licking good, there is some kinda ✨magic seasoning✨ in the waffle batter—it was delightfully crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The greens? Legit. A scrumptious combination of heat & sweet with just enough broth to keep them traditional but not soggy or overcooked. Looking forward to more meals here!

Nice little place, we chose to sit outside due to the place its self was small and tight. The cashier wasn’t as friendly, but sometimes ppl don’t mean anything by it it’s just their nature. I got the waffle and wings. My son got the party wings and Mac and cheese. The waffle and wings( nice size wings) was superb, although I was kinda of skeptical about onions and peppers topping my waffle. It was more appetizing than I expected. My son got the lemon pepper wings with a side of Mac and cheese.it was pretty good as well, I probably should have gotten my own Mac and cheese but I was still trying to get over the $4.00 price for a can sprite, no refill. For the 3 of us, it was $92.00, I enjoyed the meal overall. The parking is… well, it’s Downtown Memphis.

Such a cozy, little place, and I do mean little. I’ve been wanting to stop in and try the place, so we finally got around to it. I had the waffle pizza and was disappointed. First, there was nothing pizza about it. Please change the name to the loaded waffle, that would be more accurate. If it was described as such, I would not have expected the traits of a pizza. The waffle is really soft, so you certainly can’t pick it up as one would with a pizza and there was no base sauce just cheese that didn’t compliment the sweetness of the waffle, chicken, bbq sauce, and a load of other peppers and such. A waffle on a pizza pan with a bunch of stuff does not constitute a pizza at all. The service was okay, and there was a nice vibe in the place, so we’ll likely return to try something else. The wings looked good, so I should have followed my first mind there. My husband had the wrap, which seemed to be dark meat, and he said it wasn’t very seasoned either. All in all, it was an experience, so no regrets, and I’d recommend giving them a try. The guy next to us seemed to really enjoy the “pizza”.
