Last night we walked into Marco’s on Archer Road in Gainesville, ordered a large Veggie, a large Cheese pizza, and a garden salad at the counter, and took it all home.
Both pizzas were spot-on: fresh toppings, perfect crust, gooey edge-to-edge cheese, and that signature Marco’s sauce we love. The veggie was loaded and flavorful, the cheese pure comfort. The garden salad stayed crisp and fresh—crunchy greens, juicy tomatoes, olives, and just-right Italian dressing.
Ready in 12 minutes, friendly staff, under $35, and we demolished everything on the couch. Best quick pizza night we’ve had in ages. Five stars—Marco’s is now our Gainesville go-to!

5 stars. This pizza is delicious. I went on a Friday night. The girl was friendly and my pizza was perfect!
I ordered the Deluxe with extra cheese.
I will definitely go back because the other location I had a bad experience. And this is right down the road from motel 6.
Really made my night.
The driver who came in to help was also friendly. That’s what I like about Gainesville. Friendly down to earth people 🙂

It was my first visit.I have rode by atleast twice a day for a year. I always wanted to stop but was always on the way to work or on the way home. I wasn’t too impressed with the food.The price wasn’t too bad but it was like they slapped a bunch of pizza stuff in the microwave and shoved it on pizza crust.

My son really wanted a cheese pizza and it was our first time in a Marcos pizza and I can’t tell you kind and friendly the staff are! Kim specifically went above and beyond by giving my son a toy he’d been curiously asking about! Such a genuine act of kindness & really made his day! Now he wants Marcos pizza every night

I made a serious tactical error ordering a salad this evening (along with a pie for my daughter). Pizza-9/10. Salad-0/10. Flavorless tomatoes, some suspiciously slimy greens, thermonuclear red onion, a few slivers of ham and salami, and what was supposed to be provolone made up this “salad”. I thought it impossible to mess up something so simple, but I was wrong. Better quality produce and more thoughtful preparation would’ve made a world of difference. THEN the price that you charge for a regular sized salad would be justifiable. You’re a business, and while profit may be the name of the game, food safety AND quality should be PARAMOUNT!
