I ordered online last night. I’m not from Valparaiso so I wasn’t familiar with the area. The GPS took me 2 miles away from where the location actually was. I tried for a half an hour to find it called the store three times and nobody answered so I eventually went home to deal with a problem at that point it was 740 at night. I get a call at 8:01 PM from a guy at Subway, who says he’s the manager and that the store is closed so I’ll have to come pick up my food or my refund tomorrow because he has already closed the drawer down and accepted my payment. I told him I would be coming in the next day for a refund because none of the details online to find subway were correct when I got to the store today he was angry that I had no intention of taking the food he made last night, today. His coworker began running her mouth to me telling me never to come back and calling me names until I finally started recording them both. Then he called the manager even though he claimed to be management previously, Supposedly the manager told him to give me a subway gift card because there was no option to void the payment today as he should’ve done it the day before before even closing down his drawer there would not have been an issue if he had done it correctly. I stated that I had no interest in a subway card, especially after him and his coworker were screaming at me to never come back over wanting a refund for food that I could not pick up last night. I was not going to take day old sub sandwiches like he was insisting either. The woman must’ve forgot that I was recording and started cussing and screaming at me again, so I pulled my phone up to get her face while she was screaming at me and all of a sudden she was so mad that she was calling the police. She never called the police she shoved her camera in my face and I posed and flipped her off. He ended up very shortly after she went on that cussing, screaming tangent giving me a cash refund like he told me he would do the night before not sure why it had to end up like that. He is the one who told me the night before to come in the during the day for my cash refund. Th language barrier clearly didn’t help, as apparently it led to some major miscommunication between me and the man who told me to come in for my refund. This was my first experience at the store and it will be my last experience at this store or this franchise horrible staff horribly ran bad practice practices, bad communication. Lastly, they clearly need to update not only their phone number which went straight to a Verizon wireless discontinued message but they need to update their Google map to where they actually are so that more customers don’t have this issue, and get treated like this in return.

I see a lot of negative reviews about this location but I have had nothing but good experiences. This is a busy location so sometimes the wait times are a little long but the young lady is super nice and makes a great sandwich. Most location are very skimpy on the meat and topping but they make them right at this location . Only downfall is the pop machine is either out of ice or the pop is flat most times but you can buy a bottle of pop !!

I don’t really care to write reviews on google but I strongly felt this needed to be shared. This is hands down probably the worst subway location in NWI. You walk in and tables are dirty, the counter is filthy and the glass windows in front of the food are so filthy you can barely see through them when ordering. There is one employee working the line taking 6-8 customers and ringing them up separately wearing the same gloves for each transaction and sandwich. There is another employee getting a cup of water completely oblivious to his surroundings. All of the containers are half empty or empty of meat and veggies (which don’t look very appealing to begin with). Not to mention the condition of the counter customers are being served on us absolutely atrocious. The second employee then brings out trays of bread to be baked, (the liners filled with crumbs and seasoning from the herbs & cheese) that are on the wheat and white bread also. I used to work for subway for many years and I can’t believe the owner is letting their store be ran like this. Finally I get to the checkout after standing in line for 35 minutes. I go to the drink station and there are lids and straw wrappers everywhere, spills from drinks all over the counter. Open my sandwich and the bread is dry, cracked burnt and the sandwich is sloppy and not put together well. Couldn’t even finish the first half. Waste of money. Very disappointing experience. I go to this one because it’s in the vicinity of my job and convenient to go to. I won’t be going anymore until management/ownership addresses the conditions of this store. I’m shocked to even believe they passed inspections.

I usually don’t write very many reviews, but this is absolutely my favorite subway in town! Food is actually fresh, unlike some of the Subways that I have been to. Sean and Michelle always provide such wonderful customer service. Thank you guys. Keep up the amazing work!

The past two times I’ve gone to this Subway location were horrible. First time: Placed an online order. Went in to get it and no online orders on the shelf. So I got in line behind one other person. The worker starts a conversation with the customer in front of me about school, work, etc. for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile another customer gets in line behind me as well. Still the customer in front of me and the worker are carrying on a conversation and EXCHANGING SNAPCHATS!!! Finally when it’s my turn, I tell him I had made an online order but there weren’t any on the shelf. He finds the receipt and then tells me he hasn’t made it yet. Waited almost 30+ minutes by now.
Second time: Made anther online order for Rotisserie Chicken. The receipt says in big all caps ‘TOASTED’. I get home (which is only a 10 minute drive). And the sandwich is cold, clearly not toasted, and the chicken still had ice crystals on it. I also want to add that one worker was behind the counter doing all of the work while the other one sitting at a table with friends.
Needless to say I will not be coming back to this location. Do better.

Got there and only one employee working. Guy had like 12 sandwiches to make because the people at the front of the line couldn’t order ahead. So he worked as fast as he could trying to get the line moving. Don’t understand why subway couldn’t get another employee to fill in and help this guy out but he came through and i appreciate him keeping cool in an otherwise stressful situation. The 5 stars are for this lone employee and not for the mismanagement of this restaurant.

I will say the employees were very nice but this place needs a serious cleanup, serious Nat problem, while making my sandwich you can just see nats flying all over and none of the food was covered. If im sick the follow day ill know why. The rotisserie chicken was absolutely terrible, so dry no flavor to anything. I will never waste 16 dollars for a sandwich here again when i can go to the store and buy three whole fresh rotisserie chickens, what a joke

I would like to speak with the owners. This is a very sad sight for a subway. Nat infestation. One of the dirtiest subways I have ever been to. It should be shut down and thoroughly cleaned for a reset. I worked at one with a drive through we were able to keep it spotless. The glass is full of old food and drink station disgusting. I’m sure the bugs are all over the food because some don’t have covers.

With 5 people in line it was an astonishing 50 minute wait just to place my order and the orders were 1 or 2 sandwiches per person in line. I get that the food is made to order, but I’ve eaten at a ton of Subway restaurants and never waited anywhere near this long. Maybe having a manager or someone with experience working would’ve solved this.
