Today I chose to have dinner here for work.
It appears that Patt Trip has retired and a new person has taken over with a new menu.
I was told that today was the first night they were open with the new menu and the new cook (otherwise I would have rated this a one star).
No one seemed to know what they were doing.
The waitresses did not know the menu so they were unable to answer any questions that were had about certain items.
It took twenty minutes for our drink order to be taken, and another twenty minutes for the drinks to come out.
When the food came out the waitresses plated the food in front of the wrong people.
The food came out relatively fast, but due to the long wait just to order we were there for about 50 minutes by the time we got our food.
I ordered the pierogis, and while they were affordable it was a shame that they weren’t homemade, and if they were homemade that is a little embarrassing as it seemed instant mashed potatoes were used.
There were a lot of elderly customers there. People that most likely have been coming there for decades. I say that as I stated I use to work there so I am familiar with the cliental, and everyone seemed to be disappointed.
No one was rude or mean, and the waitresses seemed to be doing the best with the situation they were in, but I was genuinely embarrassed that I had suggested this place to eat at for dinner.
