It was my first time at Shaka Cafe in Howell and I was completely blown away. The atmosphere is welcoming and the establishment itself is beautiful – you can tell they take pride in their only location. Everything felt clean, organized, and full of positive energy.
Patricia made the experience unforgettable. Her service was absolutely amazing and heartwarming. She was attentive, kind, and genuinely made me feel valued as a customer. You don’t always get that kind of personal touch anymore, and it really stood out.
I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend stopping in and asking for Patricia if you want top-tier service!

I wanted to see what Shaka was all about, so I went in for a first-time experience. About 10 minutes after they opened, I walked in with another customer and was asked to wait while the staff got ready for the day. The first I front of me was seemingly a regular and greeted very warmly. I was met with the most basic format of order taking. It then took about 10 more minutes to receive 2 smoothies and 1 bowl. I was warned about the lids popping off and still on the way to car it popped off one of the smoothies. Each item we got was about $10. The dough le time smoothie tasted very similar to a protein shake you could make at home with some peanut butter powder and banana. The beach bum had no flavor at all. The bowl itself was shockingly smaller than anticipated based on the websites photos. The taste was incredible, however. We tried the coconutty bowl. I unfortunately would not recommend the smoothies, but I would recommend the bowl despite the size discrepancy. The inside is very nice. I would recommend ondering in advance if you are any type of hurry though.

Shaka Café in Howell is a vibe! The atmosphere is unreal, with ocean wave flooring that literally makes you feel like you’re in Hawaii. Their smoothies, packed with premium protein, are delicious and nutritious. A full 1st Phorm supplement lineup sits in the back corner, perfect for health buffs. The customer service is exceptional—warm, personal, and attentive. Absolutely a 5-star gem!

I’ve been here twice now, in the same week. Since trying it I have become obsessed with it. I want everyone to know about how wonderful this place is. If you haven’t tried it, do it!
