Unfortunately another case of a terrible server ruining a dining experience. This lady didn’t say a single word the entire time. Came up to the table with her little order pad & my friend ordered. I said I needed a couple more minutes & she visibly scowled at me & huffed away! Aside from the childish server, the food was ok, but nothing I need to ever have again.

I always need to make a stop here when I swing through Elgin. The food is good and the coffee is hot and I generally learn something from the locals– good people. Here’s an added bonus: they’re also a bakery, so be sure to pick up some donuts or fresh baked bread. The caramel rolls are off the hook!

The young gal that was our waitress was really friendly and an awesome worker. The other staff was pretty unfriendly. Couldn’t greet you even say a word except how much the bill was. Food and portion size was good

Was there to bowl on a mixed league. A small bowling alley locally owned. Kept clean and neat. Is state sanctioned so bowlers are able to take part in any tournament they want to else where and use the local average they have. Is being updated every year with used but still functional equipment.

Nice cozy out of the way tavern with quite a few people but not over crowded. Still can hear yourself think even though the bowling lanes are right in the next room! Clean place with lots of remodeling done.
