This was my third visit at Breadsmith, and I’m glad Appleton has two locations to visit, because who doesn’t love bread? But they don’t just sell bread, they also sell cookies, muffins, and other specialty dinner rolls, sauces, etc. I honestly think their prices are fair and the product is good. Their scones and muffins is not overly saturated with sugar, you can tell that it’s more of a home-made product than it is highly processed. We just picked up their banana chocolate chip dessert, bread, and a loaf of their rustic bread, both excellent. And if you frequent Breadsmith, it helps to become a member that you can earn points towards future purchases.

Just was at the store and I have to say that the two ladies that were working (I believe they are the manager and assistant manager)are excellent. Both friendly and knowledgeable, I’ve been going there twice a week for a couple of years now, and won’t stop on Saturdays because I know they are not there. The service and attitude is not the same. You have two great employees there .The bread has always been excellent.

In case any other gluten-free people read through reviews to find out if they can eat somewhere, this location no longer has gluten free options. Very friendly and clean though!

Was just in there hoping to get some foccacia bread as it’s a special on the sign that it’s back. Not one but both girls working had no idea what I was talking about and had to point out their own handwritten sign. They just shrugged me off. Not very professional. I ended up getting a garlic cobblestone bread since they didn’t have what I was looking for only for the bread to be very hard and stale.

This has been our go-to place for years when we need REAL bread. The employees are always friendly and helpful and honestly the Traditional Rye is a mainstay in our household. Toast, grilled cheese, and sandwiches wouldn’t be the same without it.

The BEST Bread!!! They have so many different kinds! I absolutely love their freedom bread— cranberries and blueberries in a white bread. They are generous with their berries. Their Pain du Chocolate is a wonderful dessert bread. I love their yeast rolls for the holidays.

Best baked goods in the state. Love the pumpkin bread while my son loves the garlic cobblestone pull parts! The French bread is our favorite. They offer blueberry coffee cake which is intensely delicious. The nice thing is they take orders.

I’m very pleased to find bread like we make at home, with no added chemicals for ingredients.we got 2 loaves of French and 2 loaves of Italian bread. It is like home made, not the paste you get from supermarkets. We love the bread. We will return. Still, nothing beats the smell of fresh baked bread at home, if you have time. :o)

This place has some of the best bread/buns I have ever had, but I only treat myself occasionally because they are super expensive. Over $5 for a small loaf of bread is quite expensive to me. The only reason for this rating not being 5 stars is the prices of their items.

Love their gluten free options every Tuesday, but will not go back to the Van Roy Rd store …. VERY unwelcoming to younger children! Take my grandkids to several stores on this day every week & this is the only store that I feel stressed going into! I watch them to make sure they’re behaving the best they can, but this morning was told I should be putting them in a timeout!! I didn’t realize Breadsmith was in the child-rearing business!! I’ll take my business where they are more “family” oriented!
