First time here. We walked up to the entrance, not knowing it was take-out only. Ordered moo goo gai pan and ate in the local park. Service was good, food was okay. Too many pea pods. Moo goo means mushrooms, not pea pods.

This may be the only Chinese restaurant in International Falls. The standards by which you judge this restaurant must take that into account. This is your typical Americanized Chinese food. The service was good but the food is average, at best. The Mongolian Beef was a bit tough and I expected more scallions. The taste was on the bland side, but if you don’t like salty food (like I), then this is good. The Chicken Kow didn’t have enough mushrooms and was also bland. Again, depending on if you like it.
This place is fine if you have a craving. Put this in context of the dining options at International Falls, it’s not bad.

We were staying at a nearby motel and we were looking for somewhere to eat on a stormy evening. They did not have dine-in that evening but still quick for order pickup! The orange chicken was kung pao shrimp were both very good! Definitely plenty of food for two people!

The food was fast but the prices were were a little high for the portion size ( just a small lunch menu). The egg rolls seemed to be homeade and were very good with the plum sauce that was served with it. Ambience was an open cafe type of seating (tables and chairs). Waitress was friendly and checked in on us regularly. I Will go back to check out there dinner menu.

Rose Garden is a pretty solid choice for a nice family meal. Usually plenty of space and the food is good. Menu is tailored to the town, so if you’re expecting authentic cuisine, be prepared to ask for exactly what you want. Very friendly family running the place.

Got Egg Rolls, Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, & White Rice to go. The Egg Rolls weren’t great, but at least they were edible. The Orange Chicken had no orange flavor whatsoever, the Sesame Chicken tasted kind of like meatballs & seemed reheated. The rice was partially cold, but it was pretty much all I could eat. And $33 for this meal seems pretty ridiculous to me… plus when ordering I said I wasn’t from the area & it would’ve been nice to have been offered plastic silverware.
