The new ownership is really not very good. What a difference from previous owners…I waited so long and my onion rings were burnt. The cheesesteak was missing onions and it was horrible, really horrible…barely any cheese. The bread was old. No fork..ketchup or napkins…It was such a disappointment. I can’t even begin to tell you that the new owners are just ruining it. It’s terrible. There was a line of people waiting. The man that took my money didn’t know how to make change….Cause he was from another country…didn’t speak English. He didn’t know how to say anybody’s name. And he gave everyone the wrong order. He was new, it was very unorganized. They didn’t take your name at all. They didn’t give you a receipt. The food was really awful. I can’t even begin to tell you but it changed. New owner is very nice man, but he really should get it more organized. It was chaotic and terrible, terrible service and the food was just status quo. Such an epic fail!

I live in MD now and just came home for 3 days. Found Big Bobs and ate there 3 times. Best cheesesteak ive had in many yrs. Cuban sandwich was amazing. My husband had his first italian hotdog and loved it. Will be back for sure.

Stopped in for lunch today and was blown away by how good the cheese steak was. First of all, the sub roll is wonderful. The wrong bread can absolutely ruin a cheese steak, but these guys have an awesome roll that is a little soft, stands up to the moisture in the sandwich without following apart, and is generally a delight. They load up the steak, chopped onions, and cheese so this is a big sandwich for the price. I get mine with hot peppers and while I like the relish some places have these guys have a slightly chunkier hot pepper that added nice strong heat. Will look forward to coming back!

Have been coming here for years when in the area. Just recently things have definitely changed. The cheese steaks were extremely greasy and the chili cheese fries tasted awful. Upon reading some reviews it seems that it has new owners. Well it definitely shows. The store wasn’t as clean as it used to be and the food was definitely a fail. Very disappointed.

I recently had dinner at Big Bob’s Restaurant in Manalapan, and honestly, it was such a great experience! The food ordered was absolutely delicious—everything was packed with flavor, and you could tell it was made with care. They have a great variety on the menu, so there’s something for everyone. Pretty honest about it! What really stood out to me was how clean everything was. The place was spotless, and it just gave me a lot of confidence in their hygiene standards. It’s not something you always notice unless it’s really well done, and they nailed it. If you’re in the Manalapan area and looking for a place with amazing food, great atmosphere, and super clean surroundings, you’ve got to check out Big Bob’s. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s definitely some good food and Big Bob’s nephew is a very nice young man. We were just stopping by after a trip to the englishtown flea market ! Perfect french fries. Great sandwiches, great price. We were very happy !

I have been to this place couple of times, I must say food and service both are great. They have best sandwiches around. The new owner is carrying the old tradition and cooking style very well. The philly steak sandwiches is amazing there. Last time I was there they gave me chicken sandwiches with some unique flavor and it was out of this world. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and I’ll be honest I’m a regular customer there now.
