Amazing. Went to Osaka Hibachi for years-a staple in the friend group, decided to try Yummi when it opened… Way better. Can’t recommend Yummi enough. Student discount too. Fantastic food. Pricing for the standard hibachi plates are a little higher than Osaka’s base, but the combination plates are definitely less expensive… a much better deal to get a combination. Great employees too.

We enjoyed dinner at Yummi Japanese Hibachi. The restaurant decor is nice and cozy. We ordered the steak and chicken hibachi, wontons, and crunchy roll. Everything was great, rice fluffy, steak tender, chicken juicy, sushi was quality enough to order it again, wontons were fried just enough to get that crisp bite. They also give you a full bottle of yum yum sauce for the table!
The worst part of my experience was going to the bathroom. The hall to get there smelled strongly and unpleasantly stank! I’m telling you once you smelled the scent it stayed in the air once you move from you seat. I don’t know if this was just a one time occurrence but this smell was strong, deep like something was there causing that smell.
Other than that service was pretty good. Will be back!

The food is well worth the price. 11.34 for teriyaki chicken with carrots and fried rice, doesn’t sound like much till you realize there was enough for 2 people in one plate!! Amazing flavor in every bite!!! The carrots were cooked perfectly!!! The rice was exceptional!! And the Chicken was perfectly cooked!! I highly recommend this restaurant. The Japanese/Chinese restaurants in the surrounding area are pale in comparison to the affordability and quality that Yummi has!!!
The staff was very attentive and accurate, while also being kind, the gentleman that took my order made sure that everything that I ordered was correct before I left.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and serene, like a true Japanese restaurant should be.
1000 out 10 !!!! Best Japanese food I’ve had in years!!!

I have always came to this small place to eat a quick meal. Today was beyond disappointed and will not be returning. The waitress gave me the wrong order. I asked her to fix it she gave me attitude. Then returned back with my food and left a piece of the wrong order on my plate. If that wasn’t enough, I had a bug crawling in my rice. Disgusting! I told them about it and the response I got was “sorry.”

Honestly disappointed. Tried this because of a friends recommendation. About half of my roll wasn’t filled as you can see in the picture. And the wait staff did the bare minimum while serving. Taste was 6/10. There are many other sushi places nearby that will give you much better quality for the same price. 2 rolls for $15 at least fill them

They’ve done a beautiful job with decor layout and it’s so clean. It’s very nice inside. On top of that, they’re very nice and very fast! Last but definitely not least – it was delicious. The steak and chicken were both tender, not overcooked, and had great flavor. Also great portions for the cost. We had littles with us who loved everything from the teriyaki to the chicken nuggets + fries. We also shared a cooked crunchy roll which was fresh and yummy. We’ll definitely be back.

Ordered from Grub Hub and received a teriyaki chicken with no teriyaki sauce on the chicken at all. It was dry and bland. No yum yum sauce provided either. They probably did so because it was an online order and they could get away with it. This was my first time eating this but will not be back.

I had lunch yesterday at this place. I’m a frequent customer. Let me just say that for the first time I received very good service. Many other times I’ve never received service because the other waiters seem like zombies on the phone. I think this girl who served me is new and it’s nice that they change the staff! I was simply satisfied with the food, service, and the place. I can give it a 100%, highly recommended.

This place STINKS! Never have I ever been in a restaurant that stinks that should’ve been the first red flag. Let’s move on to the tiny broccoli and tiny portion of chicken & broccoli with a load of rice, now on to the sauce absolutely DISGUSTING I couldn’t even eat the meal after I poured it over my food. Literally wasted my money. The food immediately gained a smell after doing so causing a smell in my car the manager refused me a refund. My first and last time visiting here. Worst hibachi place on the planet. Please run from this place
