We ordered an appetizer and a build-your-own pizza. Starting with the appetizer: it was generously sized, essentially the size of a full pizza, though quite thin to be labeled “cheese bread.” Unfortunately, it was overly crispy—borderline inedible in some areas—so I wouldn’t personally recommend it.
As for the pizza, there was a mix-up with our order initially, but once corrected, the pizza came out fresh from the oven—so hot it needed some time to cool before we could enjoy it. Once it did, though, it was fantastic. The crust was excellent, the vegetables were thinly and evenly sliced, and the cheese-to-sauce ratio was spot-on. It turned out to be one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. I’d rate the overall dining experience an 8/10.
The manager (or someone in a supervisory role) acknowledged the initial error and kindly offered us 10% off, which we appreciated.
Now, regarding the bill: building a custom pizza turned out to be surprisingly expensive. Each topping was an additional $2—including something as simple as a drizzle of hot honey. Our build-your-own pizza totaled over $32, which was unexpectedly high.
We’ll likely return, though next time we’ll opt for takeout and choose a pre-designed pizza from the menu instead of building our own, considering the significant cost difference.
I’m definitely a Pizza Connoisseur from way back y’all
We ordered a Tavern Crust Pepperoni, Cheese Garlic Sticks and BBQ Wings!
Pizza was nice and crispy! Ingredients were great quality! Had a few char marks on the crust! They even asked me if I wanted pepperoni all the way to the edge!!
The wings were lacking a little from not being tossed in the sauce but were still crispy and juicy.
That pizza though….
Wings were good. We ordered the buffalo wings extra crispy and they could have been more crisp for our liking but they were not soggy and were cooked through which has been hard to come by in Dickson aside from Ruby’s.the buffalo flavor is good, not super spicy, but a good flavor. My mom and I are hard critics of buffalo wings cause we’re from Buffalo where they originated and I would totally get them again!
Buffet is $12 and offers a few varieties of pizza, chicken and dumplings and salad. It’s not a huge variety but it’s good for the price.
Tea is good, sweet but has a nice strong tea flavor.
If you’re ordering from the menu, try the tortellini pizza it’s amazing.
(They also had super clean restrooms!)
