From the second we walked in, I felt welcomed. This is my first time visiting MS and I wanted some catfish.The food was Cooked to order, Fresh, flavorful, and inexpensive. The portion size was generous and everything ordered was jumbo including the mozzarella sticks.

My friend and I stoped by because she and her boyfriend wanted fish. They ordered the pan trout with fries. There was plenty food but both said the fish wasn’t good (no good seasoning) and she had to put her fries in air fryer. I tasted a small piece and they were correct; absolutely no flavor. They didn’t eat it all because not tasty.

My first visit to Fish Hut did NOT disappoint! The catfish dinner was so good — perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The young lady at the drive-thru (I wish I had gotten her name!) gave amazing customer service and made sure I understood everything on the menu. That kind of service makes a difference.

This was our first time going. My friend ordered the 8 pc buffalo wings with side of okra and they were very delicious! We drove through the drive thru. It wasn’t busy like the surrounding restaurants. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the food to be freshly prepared. The wait was worth it!!

Really disappointed in this experience as I was looking forward to trying a new restaurant out. Firstly, the catfish plate says that it comes with at least 3 catfish filets and ours only came with 2. And it was fried so softly that it was falling apart Everytime we tried to dip it. It really should’ve been cooked inside more. The fried okra was clumped together. The fries were cold and not seasoned. And the wings were small (not like another review I’d seen) and had an off taste.. maybe because of the breading? Overall, I really wanted to love it but it really just fell short. I’m open to giving them another chance maybe when they work some kinks out.

This review is of a newly opened business please do not take this single review as a reason to not try this business. Perfection takes time. County line fish hut was a acceptable experience. It was not bad by any means but I am also not necessarily ready to call it great. I will say it has a lot of great things going for it though and a great future ahead with lots of amenities to draw you in once they work out the kinks of being a new business. My food was not bad but my taste flavors were not consistent. I bought a couple of dishes to try. The taste felt as if one chef started cooking on one dish and another tagged in and did my next dish. One was decently seasoned and the other dish was bland and slightly overcooked and a little dry. So food wise to me it’s an acceptable newly opened work in progress. The service was impeccable. The workers were very helpful and informative as to menu items and what was good to try. They also were very active moving around and keeping tables and floors clean. The atmosphere was quite nice also. They have three big television screens with different options for things to watch and yes the day I was in there one of the options was sports. All in all I plan to try them again in a few weeks once the cooks get a little more acclimated and I think you should too.
