By far, the BEST place to eat in Red River! Read this now, give them a chance, believe me later. They’ve converted the old movie theatre into a restaurant. A movie plays while dining…fun ambiance. The executive chef has done an amazing job curating a menu. To start, freshly popped popcorn is served. We chose the dragon roll as an appetizer. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi. This roll is on my Top Five ever! Then, we split the surf and turf…14oz bone in ribeye cooked perfectly! Lobster tail in Red River, NM? Divine! Julie was our waitress and has a wonderful personality. She went above and beyond. Don’t delay, eat here today!!

Phenomenal place in Red River. Great for families. Service was fantastic. Food was very good. If they get a liquor license, it will be a game changer. Really enjoyed the overall experience. Took my wife and two kids and they all enjoyed it.

Found this place while poking around North New Mexico. When you come from the south, there’s a turn and suddenly you’re in a quaint mountain village built for visitors.

The absolute highlight was visiting this establishment. Alex couldn’t have been more charming as we discussed black & white movies while It’s a Wonderful Life played on the screen behind us.

Colin was a gracious host that traded stories and truly enjoys providing a warm spot alongside creative menu options and the freshest seafood you can find in the region (try the oysters).

Unique, inspired and incredibly friendly, this is a must stop for anyone who appreciates the reuse of the space.

When our favorite spot was unable to accommodate us, we decided to give Madam’s a try. We had a group of 20 – 11 adults and 9 kids. Madam’s was very welcoming of our large group and worked very hard to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The atmosphere is fun and nice without feeling stuffy. When you are seated, there are little bowls of popcorn on the table which was a nice touch. The food is the real star of the show. In our group, we tried: the Alaskan roll, the wagyu roll, the enchiladas, the chimichanga, the ramen noodles, the tacos, the wings, and the nachos. Everything was a hit except for the nachos. They would be better with queso + melted shredded cheese or just queso. The shredded cheese only dried the dish out a bit. The star was definitely the chimichanga, but the ramen and sushi rolls weren’t far behind. We also had dessert: chocolate cake, blueberry cheesecake, and carrot cake. They were all delicious. All in all, everyone had a good time, including the kids.

I luv a good Saloon style bar and eaterie. The staff seemed very attentive. Food was decent. Better than ordinary bar grub. The tap was inoperable during my visit

The food was good, but there was no customer service. Our waitress had a really bad attitude. I guess because she was expecting and they were short staffed due to COVID she was in a really bad mood and didn’t care about her job. She was complaining to customers about management. We basically had to serve ourselves because she was anywhere but where she was needed. We had to find our own silverware, napkins, and refilled our own tea glasses. Most customers understand the effects of COVID on businesses and employee shortages. That doesn’t give anyone a reason to be rude to the customers that will potentially be leaving a decent gratuity. I don’t understand why she would be that way toward us. We were very polite to her.
The building is really cool. Very historic. I loved the old architecture and furnishings. If not for the lousy service I would leave 5 stars.

I had a great time at the bistro! I got the Madam’s roll, it was delish! Also, I really liked the atmosphere and decor. Our waitress, Wendy, was very kind and attentive, even while taking care of a huge table next to us. Will be back

We ate here as guests of the owner. We were seated but not offered anything drink. Once we ordered our food, it took about an hour till it came out. Still no drinks while the owner sipped a whiskey in front of us. The food was AWFUL!!! and they didn’t bring me what I ordered. Out waitress noticed none of us were eating, and that’s because we didn’t have any silverware for a good 10 minutes. Finally, I had a sip of water after being there for almost 2 hours and promptly went to the restroom to vomit from food poisoning. No comp after horrible service and horrible food. The owner barely apologized. Skip this place on your way through.

We had a fantastic dinner last night! My daughter enjoyed her sushi roll. My parents both got tacos and they were very good. My son loved his noodles. I loved the nachos with steak asada. The restaurant looks brand new on the inside. We had fantastic service.

Food was expensive and we were served day old noodles. Wings dry and tasteless. 7 dollars for a store bought bread basket. Our server was great. The person who seated us asked us to follow her these started talking to another table and acted surprised when we were still behind her. The atmosphere and prices said high end….not so much no alcohol in July I guess
