The Strand Concert Theater and The Backstage Lounge, operated by the parent company PGPL. The Strand Theater, is a live performance venue, a banquet hall, host to parties, business meetings and much more. The Backstage Lounge, with a full service kitchen and bar is open Wednesday and Thursday from 11am till 8pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am till 10pm, and during other public events, as posted.

Myself & my office manage had rubens the meat was barely warm. The bread was no grilled, maybe toasted ? The other girl took a few bites of her burger, but said that it was very dry. The apatizers were basic but much better than the rest.

We have visited the Strand on numerous occasions for events ranging from concerts to Big Time Wrastle’n. This place is a true hidden gem in Sandusky County. The atmosphere is excellent, the food is great and the entertainment is always top notch.

The place is set up like a teachers lounge in the 80’s, and has prices like a “mom n pop” grocery store in a small town … $2 for a CAN of pop!?!? (Soda) I suppose when you have a sign that reads “restrooms for customers only” on the entrance, it must be their way of charging admission lol. I’ve never seen more than 3 customers inside… they all get quiet and look at the door when someone walks in …. almost as if in shock.

Great variety on the menu for a place of its size. Despite the variety, I always end up getting the School Pizza…sausage to be exact. It’s just like when we were kids (I’m talking to you, Boomers). There’s a good selection of beers and a full liquor bar. The owner and staff are courteous and hospitable. Comfortable and with great music.

This place allows LPW to set up in their parking lot – what’s not to like?? But seriously, we went for the wrestling and indulged in some food: nachos, popcorn, school pizza and the street corn, which was amazing. Cool place in little old Fremont.

Great place to catch up with friends or host a quick meeting. Owners go above and beyond every time. Also a great venue for events with food that is always well liked by everyone attending! Be sure to get the house salad, my personal favorite!
