The Crow’s Nest is a true gem. The fish was delicious and full of fresh, vibrant flavor. Amazing staff, Billy killed it. Very attentive and friendly service. The warm, inviting atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, making it an ideal spot for everything from casual meals to special occasions. If you are in the area step in for a true experience that I would say is harder and harder to come by.

Way too expensive for mediocre food that I can make at home better! would recommend subway over this place! I mean does that really look like 32 dollars worth of food? It was bland and Over half of it is rice. I took one bite of the biscuit and was disgusted with this! We also got a pizza and I’ve had way better pizza from a gas station! Would highly advise go anywhere then here

Definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ dining. We selected the buffet – “Perch on the Porch.”
Which was so much more than perch. Our meal exceeded our expectations.

The buffet included cream of mushroom soup, salad with home made balsamic or ranch dressing, steamed zucchini and squash, short grained white rice with carrots. The 3 entrees were pan fried Chicken topped with creamy morel sauce, walleye Grenoble- white wine butter Lemon caper, pan fried perch.
Finished with tres leche, eclairs, coconut chocolate chip bites.
The entire buffet was superb – from start to finish. If I had to pick my favorite it would be difficult because it was all so flavorful and savvy.
Stop in and enjoy a delicious dinner. Plenty of parking. Reservations would be required. We will definitely be returning.

Decided to try the perch on the porch on a Friday evening in October while up for a weekend getaway. The perch and tarter sauce were very good, everything else on the porch was just mediocre. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

Had the perch on the porch Friday night special buffett. Lightly battered and pan-fried perch, great tartar sauce, mashed potatoes, and mushroom soup. So good. Highly recommend!

When I pulled in to the packed lot on a Tuesday eve, I suspected 2 things, the food must be good and this will take forever!
Turns out they have a Perch buffet, the line was so long that I pulled up to the bar and ordered off the menu. My cocktail was spot on and my salad came before I could finish it. Just as I set my fork down, my dinner arrived.
The fish in morell sauce hung off the plate. Certainly I couldn’t finish it all?!
It was so delicious, it was gone before my 2nd cocktail was drank.
This little country restaurant is AMAZING! and the service is excellent!

First time customers… We were there for the perch Friday dinner.
Just about everything we was fabulous! (Coleslaw was just ok and lemon meringue was store bought)

Now, from the Cuban bean soup (with chef Paul Prudhommes sausage) to their maple syrup vinaigrette (salads) to very flavorful pulled pork to the perch (was extremely tasty)

It’s in the middle of nowhere, but people have been coming here for years because of the food, staff and service.

I’ve dined at the Crow’s Nest many times and have also experienced their catering. Delicious food, generous cocktails, and always wonderful, friendly service. All of the food is good, but their fried perch is the BEST!

The Crow’s Nest catered my Harbor Springs wedding and they did such an amazing job! Planning the menu was really easy, and they made the tasting super fun. At the event, the food and drinks were wonderful and they were really diligent with allergies.

Shana was also extremely helpful while planning the event and day-of coordination. She coordinated all of the rentals and was able to be on-site for the tent delivery/set-up. When I was having trouble finding a vendor for hair and makeup, Shana knew exactly who I should contact. She ran our rehearsal and also did all of the day of coordination. Everything went super smoothly during the wedding and reception thanks to Shana!

I would highly recommend the Crow’s Nest for catering and Shana as an event planner to anyone planning a wedding in Northern Michigan!
