Was excited for my first time ever trying this place, until I went. Completely wrong order, normally I give the benefit of the doubt with fast food as it can be busy. There was only one other car besides mine in the drive thru yet they still messed up the order. Wrong sandwich and side. They seemed distracted and definitely don’t plan on going back. Chicken just tastes greasy, no real flavor. Fries were thin and soggy, wedges were lacking in spices and or salt as well. Mac and cheese was bland.

This place is a breath of fresh air in a time when customer service barely exists anymore and food is almost always ‘meh’. We have always been greeted with positive attitudes by people who didn’t appear to completely hate their job like most places now.. Tara was an absolute gem. The food is always good and fresh even when we DoorDash. They have definitely become a favorite in the household. Please don’t change anything!

First and last time going. Ordered loaded mac&cheese, banana pudding and lemonade. The two workers were having words at the window because the last three banana puddings were promised to somebody that was coming up to get them. So the lady at the window said she had to refund my money and that they were making more banana pudding, but it would be a little while. Meanwhile, the other lady is still saying you didn’t talk to me and I would’ve told you that you can’t sell those because somebody’s coming to get them. ??????????? My whole order should’ve been refunded because that’s just crazy. If they were already sold, they should’ve been bagged up with the receipt on them.

Just tried on Saturday around 6ish we dined inside which was a mistake the inside is super small and was very very cold that day! I got the free bird meal with a water. First of all I got 2 small pieces of chicken on all this bread! I had to fix the sandwich cause it was sliding apart! The bacon wasn’t done all the way and very chewy. The fries were luke warm as well as the chicken on the sandwich. The only thing really worth it was the honey mustard! The wait wasn’t bad maybe 20 minutes. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I dined with 2 other people as well. The others food was the same as mine except one person got collard greens and Mac and cheese and the quarter chicken. The only thing hot was the chicken the sides were cold no steam no nothing? Which was weird? We will have to try them again later on down the road! Oh also, the slushy machine wasn’t in use! Which was one of the reason we also wanted to try it!

Went to Waldo’s for the first time this evening. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and a quarter chicken plate. The customer service was decent, no complaints. We waited around 20 mins for our food which wasn’t bad at all. When our food came out, we received 1 sandwich. Then the other 2 plates came out at a different time. I personally had the quarter white chicken plate. My chicken was fresh out of the fryer. I ordered Mac n cheese with collard greens. I give the chicken a 4/5. It was well breaded and steaming hot the whole time I ate it. It was under salted but I’m assuming that is for people who can’t consume as much salt because of health conditions. My sides weren’t even lukewarm. They were cold. They were so cold that I put them to the side, ate my chicken and went back to try them again and the temperature of my sides hadn’t changed. Really disappointing because it’s like they threw my sides on a plate before they even cooked my chicken. The cheddar biscuit just tasted like dough so I didn’t finish that. It was VERY SMALL in there. I was going to get a spiked slushie but, the slushie machine wasn’t even working. We waited a few weeks after opening to try it. The AC was blasting in the dining room, which was unnecessary.
They have potential. I’ll wait a few months and try it again.

If you’re looking for some great wings, fries, or an adult beverage, Waldos is the place! Molly’s customer service was exceptional and has been all 3 times we’ve visited. Food has always been great and you have to try the biscuits. So next time you’re looking for a new place to try, give Waldos a shot.

Up sell you to get a cup with discounted refills, 1st time I try I was told waiting for the health department approval. You shouldn’t try to up sell the refills if not allowed yet. So it appears the health department allows storage of ingredients where public can contaminate but won’t allow a plastic cup to be refilled.

My wife and I bot- the OG chicken sandwich, fowel mouth chicken sandwich, the roost chicken sandwich, and a Mac bowl for my son. The fries were soggy and oily. The roost sandwich was dried shredded chicken on bread with no sauce. My son wouldn’t touch the Mac. The OG and fowl mouth sandwiches were decent. I gave this a 1 star because half our food was basically throw away because nobody would touch it after 1 bite.
