Stopped in while dropping kid off at Framingham State. Looked for something “american-ish”. Tried this place. Not bad. Has a good size bar in the front with lots of Boston sports memorabilia. Dining room is rest of place. Nothing great but not bad and it was clean. Solid middle of the road place.

Super friendly staff. Got seated right away a little after 12 ( not many people there, maybe bc holiday). They bring you a bowl of fresh popcorn. Ordered some food from Emily (super nice). Things are a bit on the pricier side then expected (compared to chain restaurants for same food) but not crazy. They run a special for under $15. I got the thanksgiving dinner which was sliced turkey (so its not deli meat but it’s not carved turkey. It’s one of those turkey loin things sliced. It was decent), mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn and a biscut. Everything was good and came out quickly. Wife and kid split a full rack of ribs which was good. BBQ sauce had a slight kick so gave it a nice flavor. All in all, 3 people $60. Not bad and was filling. Was it wow, no. Was it bad, no. It was very solid middle of the road restaurant food. I would feel comfortable going again. Would like to try their 1/2 lb burger. Looked good.

If your looking for a quick bite, freindly staff and get your food quickly, pop in.

I went solo to the Framingham location next to Trader Joe’s, had lunch and service was great. Forgot names but my server was a man with glasses and bald with facial hair and he was being helped by someone I think was a supervisor; an older gentleman. Both took very good care of me. Were constantly checking on me, my order and they were very prompt to my requests. And my fried chicken plate was delicious!!!! Someone kept vacuuming the floors, place was clean. Great experience.

Food was better than decent. The lobster flatbread was outstanding. The French Dip was good, but curiously sweet. The bartender did a decent job, but was more interested in talking to friends/regulars about her weight loss regiment than spotting my empty glass.

The place is very controversial. First what meets you is the absence of staff on the entrance. You may easily wait 10-15 minutes for someone to come and seat you, despite the entrance is in the line of sight of the bartender.
Then the odor. Maybe it was an unlucky event, but it felt as a smell of a stale fish.
The interior is clean, however the place itself feels tight, maybe because of the wall to the right of the tables row.
The dish selection is good, and what you can call “thoughtful”, it is combined to represent the bests of USA cuisine. It bears the mark of a good chief.
The staff: attentive, friendly, and at the same time not unobtrusive.
The sad part of the story is a food. The fish (yep, we ordered it) didn’t taste fresh. Country fried chicken tasted the same as what you’d expect from McDonalds. But with a price tag of a real restaurant.
I really sorry to say that, but that was one of the worst experiences, and if you check my reviews I mostly leave positive review or do not leave it at all. However, this time it way surprisingly weak experience.

Sooooooooo….. We didn’t even get to sit long enough to enjoy our food. Our waitress brought us some popcorn, and that’s when the mice started coming out. We saw one and were like, okay, let’s not freak out and try to get something to eat. But then another one came running from the other end of the restaurant, one ran to my feet, and another was jumping off of one of the booths. I went over and asked the host if we could leave because we just saw four mice, and he got the manager. The manager apologized and asked for us to give them another chance. This was my first time here, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Average 99, good food with good portions. The service was a little slow but attentive. It did take a few minutes to get silverware after our food was served. Overall a 4. An oh by the way… the pen the waitress gave me to complete the check didn’t work so I filled it out in crayons.

Alicia at the bar is amazing! Great martini, service and wonderful to talk to. The staff is great as well and I really enjoy their Prime Rib on Saturdays.
Thank you for a great experience!

I came here with my wife and kids a few days ago and the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by Morgan. She doesn’t seem to enjoy her job and doesn’t know how to greet customers in a welcoming and professional manner. Another thing that bothered me was the fact that the floors and door were so dirty. Other than that, the food and table service were great. Our waitress, Emily, was polite and seemed more upbeat and saved the experience.

The wait staff and the host were very nice and friendly. But the one star is for the chef. I have sensory issues and ordered a well done burger. When the burger came out it was pink on the inside. I can’t eat that or I’ll puke because of my sensory issues, I hate sending food back but I was really hungry. So I showed the pink and asked if I could get one well done. The wait staff was really nice about it, but when the new one came out it was practically a burnt brick. I didn’t know what to say in the moment because I get so upset having to deal with this. I just don’t understand what some people have against well done meat. If you don’t want to cook well done than don’t offer it. I just said it’s fine and let it go cause I didn’t want to cause a scene. But it’s really messed up when a chef intentionally burns and bricks food because they are upset. I will never come here again, I’m clearly not welcomed.

The 99 in Framingham is a great location among their franchise. The happy hour deals and Thursday $0.59 wings always keep us engaged to come back. The staff is all friendly. The facility and parking is all in good shape. The food was hot and prepared well. We enjoyed a couple of their drinks specials too. $5 margaritas and <$3 Bud Select beers. Waltham might have them beat on the frosty mugs but I’ve heard their mugs are frostier at lunch and early dinner. Have to get a couple rounds for yourself and friends. Enjoy!
