Ultimate favorite steakhouse! The staff is incredibly sweet. The food is amazingly tasty! The salads are always fresh, the steaks hot and juicy. The one thing I love most of all is the super down to earth staff. They are the most patient people ever! Its a small place but they ultimately make the place homey.

Miss the old location. Sat ourselves after being looked at by bar tender for a few minutes. Once we sat THEN she was attentive for our drinks. Service was slow. Food was ok once it got there after a long time. Place was busy but not anymore busy than when they were at the old location.
Had to get my own refill after being passed several times. If you were drinking alcohol you got better service. One girl that had a lot of time on her hands to text could have been cleaning tables or checking refills. Wont be back.

I feel like Western Steakhouse has been an underutilized restaurant throughout the past couple years. This place is one of Rose-Rich’s gems and has survived multiple buyouts and major expansions of Rosenberg. This place has always been one of my local favorites. The fresh hand dipped fried mushrooms are the best in the city and really give comparable Houston establishments a run for their money. The food has always been fresh and piping hot. I could nitpick about inconsistencies but the reality is that these foods are Southern Staples and you really don’t get much opportunity these days in Texas to enjoy this kind of scratch cooking.

Went in hungry and to have the catfish shrimp special. Seated ourselves around 5-6 other full tables. Immediately was asked for a drink order. 5 minutes later, the same person apologized for Not taking our drink order. Drinks arrived and that was it. 5, 10, 15 minutes, and no one returned for our order. Other person was in sight whole time, wrapping silverware. We got up and left, and will not return.
