This was the first time my wife and I have gone there. The restaurant is small, but cozy. Food is delicious, reasonably priced, good portions. I got one of the specials, which was Mediteranean Skewered and Grilled Chicken and Shrimp with warm Orzo salad and it did not dissapoint.

My daughter wanted to take me out to breakfast for Father’s Day and we decided to try this place, and I’m glad we did. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the place is clean and looks recently updated. The breakfast menu was adequate with everything you would expect available. We all had eggs and they came in a reasonable amount of time and were all cooked exactly to order. The coffee was excellent, which is always a sign of a good breakfast spot. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Breakfast this morning was so good…The best breakfast place anywhere near here. Excellent food. The atmosphere was great. The people and wait staff were relaxed and friendly. Their home made hash was outstanding. Their wraps with eggs, cheese, veggies and meat were so delicious and fresh. Nothing was processed or fast food. What a nice surprise to find this restaurant. We’ll be trying their dinners next.

Stopped by the Brookside spontaneously after a soccer game. I was pleasantly surprised… this place was great! The staff made it. We had a party of 7 and were quickly greeted, seated and attended to. Ryan the owner mad himself extremely accessible, he was super talkative and made some awesome recommendations for beer and food. The food was great. We had calamari, potato skins, some flatbread as appetizers. Dinner there were burgers, scallops and mac and cheese. Everything wad excellent. We will definitely be back when back for more soccer. Thank you to brookside and the incredible staff.

Great food reasonably priced. We had pan seared scallops for an appetizer and both the baked haddock and fish and chips were great. Real fries! We will definitely be going back to try some other menu items that sounded good.

Nice small restaurant with a young and friendly wait staff. Everything cooked fresh and moderate prices. Good specials and live music outdoors in the summer. As with all restaurants now-a-days the only have craft beers on tap, miss being about to get a light beer on tap.

Met my daughter and son in law for dinner an we enjoyed ourselves in the cozy and friendly atmosphere.
The food was very good! We loved the poutine starter. The haddock baked and fish & chips was very fresh and the shrimp in the scampi was cooked on point! Good cocktails, friendly and accomadating staff. A new favorite place!

Well we heard good thing so wanted to try the place. Sat down and ordered our meal at 705pm. The place was cold, staff was friendly. However after 35 minutes still no food. It will be out soon we are told. Finally after an hour wait we get up and walk out. A lady ( manager or owner not sure) says oh your food never showed up? No I said ( wanted to say you were sitting chatting with the table behind us for 20 minutes you could see no food was delivered). Then she says let me box it for you, no thank you. So the food was ready but not brought to our table?? We left. No idea how the food is lol

Place is an absolute dive and the clientele were so disgusting and offensive that we walked out. I’d be embarrassed to work there. We came because the website looked nice and the menu online appeared to have options we liked. Items on the menu were not available and they even ran out of Ketchup. Conversation was vulgar and inappropriate, I had to pointout thatthere were children in the building and it still didn’t stop. If this were advertised differently then we wouldn’t have brought our family here. Disgusting on all levels.
