I’ve been going to Dave’s for about 3 to 4 years now and he is by far the best Jamaican food I have had in the valley. His food is always fresh and delicious the oxtails are always falling off the bone and flavorful and the jerk chicken is the best I’ve ever had. He is very friendly a real people person and he’s always greeted everyone with a smile he treats you like your family. He also has a little spot that I go to on 67th Avenue and Broadway and it’s like you’re in Jamaica. For the amount of food that you get the price is pretty reasonable

We saw the food truck parked on 67th and Broadway and decided to give it a try and man, are we glad we did. We ordered the curry goat, curry shrimp and jerk chicken w/ fries. The shrimp meal is so delicious, not to spicy and the rice w/veggies is FULL of flavor! The goat it tender and just as good and very spicy, so beware. The jerk chicken has the right amount of sweet with savory. you can see the fresh herbs he used in the dishes too, so full of flavor, it’s ridiculous! I will definitely be going back. The guy running it was funny and friendly too. I feel like the only thing missing from the experience is some music playing outside the truck. I will definitely be going back and if you move the truck, I will look for it just to taste the other items on the menu!!

Dave was in Maricopa today and we popped in for 2 oxtail plates. Not only is he fun and friendly, when I tell you everything was literally delicious. I am so full and still have half of my container left. Best Jamaican food I’ve had. Veggies were perfectly seasoned. Oxtails falling off the bone. Peas and rice, yes yes yes!!! I will be back to try the jerk chicken. Thank you!

The vegan option was excellent. After a few days of trying, we finally got to try this place out. If you’re on a time crunch I recommend calling in ahead of time. Imo this food is worth the wait. Also decently priced. I would recommend trying it out!

If you’re looking for amazing Jamaican food and a good time, this food truck is the spot! I was a little skeptical at first because of the prices (super affordable), but let me tell you 100% worth it. I was craving oxtail, but they were out, no worries! The jerk chicken and curry chicken were The vibe here is so chill, and the people are friendly and fun to be around. Plus, the outdoor setup means you don’t have to get all dressed up to enjoy a great meal. Oh, and mark your calendars for February 22nd!! they’ve got an event happening that’s gonna be a blast! Definitely recommend checking it out ( instead of writing bad comments I wish the people were like me and actually just called ahead of time to see if they were open it is a food truck business so you always have to double check)

We always have a hard time finding Dave’s food truck and his hours are never constant. But when we do, he has the best Jerk Chicken! It seems he has found a more permanent location at 3833 South 67th Ave. Highly recommended.

This man had his food truck in Maricopa and let me tell youuuuuu this food was so bomb. He had a WHOLE smoker beside his truck. I was like watcha cook in there? He said the jerk chicken . Best bbq jerk chicken I ever had in my life. The rice and beans were bomb too. He even threw in an oxtail so I can try it out

I can’t live without Dave’s. One of the hardest things about moving to AZ was finding GOOD, authentic Jamaican food. I can’t live without it and Dave has it! I was so sad when he moved over to Glendale but I’ll still be coming. He’s got the best Jamaican food you’ll get in Arizona!
