We enjoyed a nice dinner here and the craft beer list is very good. We had friendly and attentive service. I marked down the atmosphere because during the 2+hrs we were there, the music continued to get louder making it so much more difficult to have a conversation with our friends just across the table. You increase the music, so the conversations get louder and it becomes overwhelming.

My husband and I went here on a whim, expecting a typical brewery with average burgers and beer, but it was more like if a brewery and Gordon Ramsay had a baby. The service (Sean and Austin) was not only attentive and friendly but educational. The descriptions of the beer was totally on point—everything tasted exactly as described (and the descriptions sounded so tasty). I also don’t drink and really appreciated that they have multiple Non-alcoholic options that I hadn’t tried before. The menu is hefty with something for everyone, but the ticket time was surprisingly good. I got the crab sandwich and my hubs got the 101 burger. Everything was literally so good, and I don’t say that lightly. They also gave our dog a free healthy meal that included a perfectly cooked over medium egg that I couldn’t replicate myself—I repeat: THAT WAS THE DOG BOWL and it was FREE. This place is great for a family or date night. Just do it so we can make sure UoB stays in Vacaville for good!

I stopped by University of Beer on my lunch break with a strict 30 minute time limit, and I cannot say enough good things about Taryn. From the moment I sat down, she was attentive, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. She immediately understood my time constraint and made sure everything moved seamlessly without ever making me feel rushed.
My drinks and food arrived incredibly fast, were prepared perfectly, and tasted absolutely delicious. Taryn checked in at just the right moments, made sure everything was spot on, and kept the entire experience smooth and stress free. It is rare to find service that balances speed, quality, and warmth this well.
Because of Taryn, what could have been a rushed lunch turned into an enjoyable and relaxing break, and I still made it back on time. She is a true asset to the team and clearly takes pride in her work. Management should know she is doing an outstanding job, and I will absolutely be back because of her.
Highly recommend asking for Taryn if you are dining here.

University of Beer in Vacaville is always a good time! It’s the perfect spot to hang out with friends, grab a drink after work, or watch a game. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed — upbeat music, lots of TVs, and a nice indoor-outdoor setup that works great when the weather’s nice.
Their beer selection is huge, with tons of local and craft options on tap. The staff is always happy to give recommendations, and I love being able to try something new every time I go. The food is pretty solid too — classic pub-style bites with good portions and flavor. I especially like the wings and loaded fries.

Very accommodating and attentive staff. We were greeted right away, and able to bring our pups on the patio. One of the perks is that dogs eat free. We had a variety of stage mention options when it came to food—all items were delicious. I got the BBQ Pork Mac—so good. I had to take some to go for lunch the next day. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for food and beverages.

35 craft beers on tap and a tasty food menu. There’s a mixed drink menu and mug club for the locals. Nice atmosphere with a friendly and accommodating staff. The counter is excellent for watching sports. Plenty of parking and easy to access off highway 80 in Vacaville.

My husband and I went for lunch. He had the sliders and I had the mango fish tacos and the “first time” beer flight. I highly recommend the beer flight, generous portions and delicious. We both enjoyed the food as well and the customer service was outstanding. Definitely give this place a try.

Great date night spot! We sat on the patio which was nice since it is football season and pretty loud inside. Our food came out super quick and was so tasty. Annie was our server and she was absolutely delightful! Very attentive and kind.
