Nov 25 was my first visit to Smash The Burger Joint. I went for a takeaway Shwarma smashed burger meal and my wife had the Classic smashed burger meal, in total it came in around £22 which I thought was fair.
My double smashed burger was very tasty and would highly recommend. The lovely wee tasty charr on the burger is delicious topped with the chicken and condiments.
Both meals were filling and cooked well.
The takeaway packaging was the best boxes I’ve ever seen. Good thick quality cardboard boxes for the meal ensuring there is no sagging at all.
The premises has table seating area for indoor dinning and a slightly elevated section with seats for fhe takeaway waiting area. The premises was clean including the toilets.
There is a very small carpark immediately outside the premises.
Definitely recommend a visit.

I know it’s a smash burger place but I ordered the zinger munch box and it was terrible, donner was cold in seconds and went hard. The chicken fillet was so thin!!!! Couldn’t believe it! Not one to leave reviews but this was a joke! The sauces were the really poor quality cheap stuff. The tenders had a strange chemical taste, maybe it was the sauce I chose. Won’t be back

My first time in Dumfries and Smash came up as recommended. Thought I would give it a go and they did not disappoint. The smash burger with mac n cheese was amazing. The mojito was refreshing. The loaded fries were fully loaded and went above and beyond with the taste. The lads working were absolutely brilliant and cheeky. Would defo recommend and come here again myself.

Hands down one of the best burger experiences I’ve had. The burger was incredibly juicy with bold, well-balanced flavors, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. The staff was welcoming and fast, and the overall vibe of the place made the meal even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We visited Smash the burger joint early in the evening. We ordered burgers, Classic smashed burger, The big shmacc and The big joint. We also ordered Mac and cheese, fries, 2 milkshakes, and a can of pop. The total order was £55 and took 25 minutes to prepare. Service was very friendly and pleasant. Milkshakes were really nice and well presented, and food was nicely packed. Food tasted really nice, but not all salad was there and what was in there was too little. Burgers were too dry.

Came with my daughter, she loved the food and the milkshake, and recommends it for everyone. The shawarma box was delicious and the portion was really generous. The hostess and host were great, made sure we were happy and were friendly. Will be back to try the burgers!

We went after the ice hockey, the food is great. Well what I had was anyway.
4 of us ate a meal with a drink for under £50.
It was late so pretty quiet, the food came quickly enough but not suspiciously quick and was well presented and hot, the service was friendly and we were well looked after but not constantly harassed.
I liked it.

We called in as a group of 7 about 15 mins before close for food to take away, they accommodated us after checking with the kitchen. Service was amazing, we were served by Juti who was so friendly and attentive. Recieved our food and left, upon opening it was way better than expected, everything was amazing, we got a mix of stuff from a smash burger, to a regular kebab, shawarma loaded fries, and chicken nibbles, everything was really good, especially the shawarma loaded fries. All very reasonably priced, very decent portions, and so tasty – lovely crispy chips, good meat, lovely sauce, top notch

Do not use their delivery service. Consistently extremely late. Hot sides packed in with cold things and incorrect order. This is not the first time this has happened with this place and thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt a year later. If you want to try it, pick up or eat in only.
