Horrible. nun of it was enjoyable I’m sure all of it was sitting there for hours before being served. Dinner rolls were hard, county fried steak was hard and old , fries were cold and old same for Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes were the only thing decent 30$ wasted for 2 plates that were garbage (usually taste good when fresh but was absolutely not fresh)

I ordered online and didn’t realize if you don’t mark a gravy then you get the white gravy that I wanted with our chicken fried steaks. Then I tried cutting into it and had to use a steak knife. I think it was made this morning. Absolutely awful and so disappointing

It has been a long. …………time since I visited this place. Bread so soft, chicken so moist and tender. Not greasy. Jalapeño poppers were crunchy. The nuggets for my little ones were also very tender. I didnt like the fries they were soft I like them crispy, but my kids liked them. Cinnamon rolls soft and delicious too! I didnt like the green beans or corn. Pot roast for me tasted like brisket which I loved! Yum

I haven’t been to a Grandys for 30 years. This is not as it used to be. Grandys closed down near me. Driving through I found this and was hoping to get one of their cinnamon roll. We were there around 3p.m. The cinnamon roll tasted day-old. The chicken was very dry, so that the edges were dried and stringy. I don’t know they stay in business serving such subpar food.

I loved Grandy’s back in the day. I was sad when they got rid of the chicken livers. But I decided to go today for a late lunch and was very disappointed. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, okra. I was the only person in the restaurant my mashed potatoes and okra were almost cold and my chicken fried steak was dry, even with all the gravy all over it. Also for what it’s worth it was too expensive so I won’t be going back anytime soon. I can see why the meals are half-price on Tuesdays and Fridays. I wish I had gone then and it just paid half price.

But the Customer service lacked so bad. The cashier saw me and took him almost 15 to ask me for my order. Not to happy.
The place was as empty as a dead soul. Lol

Service was a little slow and there was no advance notice of additional charges while ordering. The CF steak and mashed potatoes were good but the Mac and cheese was cold and tasted artificial (and also costs extra). One of my rolls had some grey hairs baked into the side. The dining area did not seem very clean.

So my family and I are going to Grandy’s at least once a week. I have told the manager on multiple occasions, that they never fill up the sides. If I’m paying for a Large Green Beans, Mash Potato’s etc.. I expect a Large Green Beans, or Mash!! I don’t want to pay for a Large and get a Medium or a Small!! They never fill up the Container, they always skimp on the sides, I’m tired of this!! Those pictures are exactly how it came from Grandy’s… Come on at least take care of your repeat Business!!!
