New hot dog shop at milepost 8.5 on the beach road in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Offering Norfolk snap dogs, NC red dogs, Hebrew National All Beef, Boar’s Head Spicy Sausage, Vegan, “Pot” & “Not” choices with many toppings and specialty hot dogs, we try to make sure everyone’s happy! We also offer Boardwalk Nachos with nacho cheese sauce, Queso or classic cheddar cheese sauce, add chili, or get the supreme, with all the classic accompaniments. Shoestring fries and baked potatoes are also available as well as our locals favorite the BBQ Bun. Cold sodas, tea and water are available, with beer and wine as a choice for dine in or carry out for the adults. Get some nachos and beer and head to the beach!

Would give 10 stars if I could! Discovered this place on our annual OBX trip two years ago and cannot wait to go back every year. Delicious hot dogs, perfectly crispy shoe string fries, fresh tortilla chips for nachos, giant crunchy dill pickles, and love the variety of hot dog and cheese sauce options! Super friendly staff. Absolutely perfect hole in the wall hot dog spot!

While the hotdogs were fairly decent, the wait time for them was crazy. We waited about 45 minutes, although it was a holiday weekend, there was only one guy making orders. I was also excited about the vegan chili, but it just turned out to be black beans on a hot dog which was…interesting. The fries were spectacular though, some of the best I’ve had in awhile. All things considered I do think they were doing the best they could in the circumstances they were in, the hotdogs were fine and I’m grateful to have had a plant based option at all!

This was our 2nd time here, and we brought our whole family! We would absolutely be regulars if we lived closer. The veggie dogs are AMAZING My 2 nephews completed the hot dog challenge, which was a lot of fun for us to watch, and others joined in on cheering them through the pain. The fries are so tasty and perfectly salted. It was a great memory to make while celebrating my nephew’s graduation. We will absolutely be there as soon as we are back your way Thanks for being awesome and having food my whole family enjoyed!!

What a wonderful hole in the wall spot! The experience was so great on my trip we went twice! Once when we arrived in town&& then when we rode bikes around town. The first visit we got fries, very crunchy& great flavor! I got the kill devil dog, which was absolutely wonderful. A great mixture of the spicy and cheese ratio making it not too spicy! The next visit I had a Pirates cove dog& the Chicago dog both with the red dog hot dogs! The pirates cove was spicy, but very savory flavors! The Chicago dog wasn’t disappointing ether! It was my first time trying one and it definitely made me want to get it again! Their brewed sweet tea was absolutely refreshing as well! Overall wonderful food, great atmosphere, quick service, and very chill spot to grab a bite to eat!! Also would like to shout out the wonderful staff for being so friendly and efficient! Definitely would recommend trying this place and definitely going to visit again!

My oh my where do I begin.This place is so ammmmmmmmazzzzzzzing, from the order being taken to us leaving it was very memorable!! These hotdogs were so unique and unbelievable delicious, the personal experience that you get here I’ve never got anywhere else! I just cannot thank that man enough for the impression he left on my little ones by just hanging their pictures on the wall and the personal conversation he had with us I can’t wait to come back to outer banks just to stall in and have a nags header hotdog. Much appreciation for Kill devil Dogs.

We parked in the parking lot to go next door. We parked in the middle where there’s no signs. This guy came storming over very angry with a horrible attitude and yelled at us for parking there. I understand we were in the wrong but we just didn’t know and didn’t appreciate the attitude. It could’ve been hostility meant at the other disrespectful people parking, but you didn’t need to be mean, or even say anything. You could always just call the tow truck, you weren’t even open.

Great lunch. Service was friendly from both the counter person and cook. The four different dogs we tried were good. As were the fries. Had canned sodas and beer for beverages. Around 6 tables (including outside) for dining in. Will stop back.

Fantastic service and incredibly polite staff! A young woman took our order and was very sweet and the older gentleman who brought us our food was great! Hot dogs are fantastic, nachos are good and the fries are perfection!! The old fashioned limeade is amazing as well. Will be coming back on our next trip!

Food was AMAZING and pricing was great. Good chili, good slaw, good dogs. No complaints and highly recommend the curritucker.
Service was great! We had never been there and they were very patient with us while we were ordering.
